needs to be plugged in to function
Maybe I didn't read this device's information carefully enough. It must be plugged in to work. The long, black cord dangling down is distracting. However, it can be moved up and over the rear view mirror (duh).

Not for a Harley Davidson
I bought it to use on my Harley Davidson road glide, but the g sensor can not be adjusted enough or turned off. The whole time I was riding it thought I was having an event due to the vibration.

only has a permanent window mount no suction cup one available dead in the water
no suction cup install i only have a permanent install glue attachment called to get a suction cup and they don't have one very poor in install department. also ordered a multifit suction cup its also getting a review after this one and none of them fit it so im dead in the water if you can help please do.

Great picture quality
I’ve never owned a dash cam, but after after a friend of mine was involved in an accident, I decided I needed one.JVC says this camera is 1080p. I’m not an expert in picture quality, but I can say that this dash cam is vivid and detailed even for far away objects. What sold me on this model was the G-Force sensor. I don’t want to test that out, so I’ll take their word for it.16GB micro SD card is more than enough for my needs. Setup and installation was straightforward and easy enough. If you’re top priority is video clarity and added features like G Force sensor as it was for me, you can’t go wrong with this dash cam.

Simple and Functional
The camera works as intended. License Plates are clear when behind someone. Night vision is adequate. Dark areas will be pixelated but if the head lights are working, the license plates are clear.

Awesome to keep an eye on my kids
I bought this originally to track events for my new teen driver. It was easy to install and I was pleased to learn also that I could monitor speed and location as well. Very happy with the purchase and I am getting a discount on insurance too.

Great dashcam!
The camera was very easy to install and set up, basically everything is ready to go upon plugging in, you just need to set your time zone for accurate timestamps. Because it is a dedicated dashcam, I appreciate how everything about the camera is designed and optimized for that purpose.

Terrible Dash Cam
This Dash Cam "Buttons" on the side do not work at all. Another reviewer stated this Dash Cam has a"avi" video output which is inaccurate. The Video output is ".mov" and you need a special viewer to seethe films.
