Well worth the extra money as they last much longer and are more reliable. I put them on my plastic (acrylic) glasses frames as otherwise my glasses side down my nose, as I like to keep my face moisturised with SPF. The nose pads last about a month for me before they start peeling off- but that's to be expected given the nature of the glue- not *too* sticky so it's possible to pull them off and reposition while fitting them, then they set more stubbornly on and last the whole month. However they only last 2 weeks, I tried cleaning them to see if I could get the grip back but once it’s gone that seems to be it.
