Works great to clean coffee pot

We use a Bunn Coffee Maker at work. And on occasion, it will get left on overnight. The clear glass carafes have a tendency to stain even if you don't leave it on overnight. This is THE BEST pot cleaner I have found. Not only does it quickly clean the glass carafes, but it also cleans the coffee mugs that get left with coffee sitting in them or that don't get cleaned by the dishwasher. We even had a mug out in the warehouse that had a thick bit of "something" tan colored in the bottom of it. Probably for years. I poured some of this in with water, let it soak overnight and with a little coaxing it came out in a nice tan disk and left the mug clean, to of course be washed again. Amazing! Love it!!

Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that it takes more than it should to clean the pot than it claims on the label ... but... it will clean like no other we've tried so far. Good quality Arabica bean coffee leaves behind build up stains, even on stainless steel carafes that doesn't want to wash out ... even using Dawn after soaking. This stuff releases those oil stains when enough is used & it brings it back to NEW & sparkly inside.

I was a barista for a decade so even though I just bought this myself for the first time I can tell you it gets every tiny bit of coffee out of anything and you really only need a little bit of it. Just fill the rest with hot water and let it soak. I was also happy that this was easy to find when I searched “blue coffee cleaner” as I only remembered what the container looked like and not the brand name. I would go so far as to suggest being suspicious of the cleanliness of the pots in any shop that doesn’t use this stuff. There are alternatives that work okay, but if they have this you know they know how to get it clean. I worked a shop one summer where they didn’t know how to clean the pots and there were m*gg*ts in them (censoring because I know how amazon be). I was able to use the espresso machine cleaner, which wasn’t allowed but I didn’t care because I wasn’t serving m*gg*t coffee to anyone. Some places are legit disgusting. This stuff is so easy to use that if they have it it’s a really good sign that they aren’t disgusting.
