Is this "Godfather" razor more on the mild or aggressive side? Is it more for beginner wet shavers or experienced?

Hi Stanley, The Godfather head profile is quite forgiving. For beginners: Start with Personna blades or the complimentary blades we throw in as these are neutral, last longer and will suit beginners better. For experienced wet shavers, install a Feather blade and voila, you have the most lethal combination of razor and blade!

Can these razors shave safely over a mole?

I have a mole on my face, but not a huge one. It was able to cut over without any bleeding. Using the weight of the razor as the only pressure against your face is important. Let it glide across your face.

Is there an easy way to determine if I should get the Chieftain or Godfather?

The Godfather is bigger and heavier than the Chieftain.

What is the razor made out of? Has anyone gotten an answer from the company?  I am not impressed when they say "swedish materials" ???

Dan, terribly sorry we missed your question. Please accept our apologies. It was asked a few times on the other forum so I thought it was already answered. It is solid bronze/brass, heavily coated with chrome. No need to feel bad as we just stated where our sourcing agent imported them from. If a company really wants to impress customers, they will claim that it's made from German alloys instead, which is many times more well known, agree? Reasons why we don't use materials from PRC or Pakistan is because we want to make sure the consistency is there and is accountable, so that it also helps us with our lifetime warranty against factory defects.We also have a full 316L stainless steel model being prototyped right now. In fact, there are quite a few requests to have it released- but I am seriously holding back since it will cost significantly more and at this stage, I am not comfortable projecting our image as an ultra high end brand like those currently charging $150-$220, simply because they are made from stainless steel in a small batch with a CNC machine at a local factory. Time will tell if I finally feel comfortable to release that. Anyway, stay tuned - Julian Vue
