I did a lot of reading about the VP2, and was expecting excellent LCD panel quality, but with significant glare from the lenses. Perhaps because my expectations for the lenses was low, I actually found the glare to be fine, nowhere near as bad as I thought it would be. However, there were a couple of issues which made me return the headset: (1) Panel was showing vertical lines when moving my head, which made the display look pretty awful. The panel is supposed to have zero screen door effect, but the vertical lines gave a similar effect, and made the resolution look quite low. A few people on the Vive forums are mentioning this issue. It could be a faulty headset. (2) Unable to find a good fit - I couldn't get the headset padding low enough on the back of my head to be comfortable. It should cradle the back of your head, but was just jutting uncomfortably into my head too high up. Unfortunately, the headset can't be angled down, which would have solved the issue. As mentioned, at the same time, I received my replacement Reverb G2 - these can have reliability issues, but the display, lenses and comfort are just so much better than on the VP2 that I received.
