Better Sleep and Less Stink
Before we get started, I am very paranoid and picky about my products even after debating just this product alone it took me a lot of time and thinking before I purchased it. This product review is as genuine as I can make it and hopefully if this is the right size of unit for you, I can help make your purchasing decision a little bit easier to choose this or another product. I do list pro's and cons at the end of the review so if you are looking just for that, it is there. ======= The reason I bought this: I've been suffering from a really bad sinus problem and severe allergies. After using multiple medicines and receiving no relief in the mornings and in the afternoon from my prescribed allergy meds I decided I might need cleaner air to solve my problems. Not only that, I needed something that would help with grabbing my dogs hair, dander, and sometimes smell. As this would kick up my allergies too. The Point I decided I needed an air purifier was when I saw hair, dust, dirt, and god knows what else floating around. --- My reasoning in picking this air purifier: I didn't want to break the bank with an oversized air purifier nor did I want to get something with an outrageous maintenance process and cost, and after nearly looking for 6 months for the right amount of reviews and ratings I finally decided my small room needed this air purifier. I wanted something that would look good, work good, and fit perfectly in my room. Despite being extremely cautious when I shop online, the reviews and ratings for this product seemed right and buying this product felt right too. I noticed that all the one star reviews were mostly because of a defect in the unit and not rather an issue with the purification process. Even with the one star reviews that didn't talk about defects seemed that most people were trying to purify a room that was just too big for this unit to handle. Everything seemed right for the price and the description, so I bought it. --- What is has done so far: After running it on max speed in the mornings for about 4-8 hours a day for 3 days, I noticed a significant decrease in smell and floating particles around my room. My water cups were more clean in the morning and the air felt lighter and smelt much cleaner, unlike the previous musky and stagnate smell that would occur if I failed to open my windows in the morning. (And I wash my sheets and laundry weekly. The smell comes from a lack of circulation due to an old and under powered Heater/AC unit. There is barely any airflow through the ducts to my bedroom.) When running it on Sleep Mode at nights I noticed after about a week of using it that when I wake up my nose would be less stuffy and I would not only wake up more refreshed but even more alert due to my cleared sinuses and not waking up in the middle of the night from not being able to breath sufficiently. Even my coughing has decreased. I've noticed that on my window ledges, seals, and in the crevices where moisture builds up, that there is a reduction in mold spores and a slowed rate of growth. --- Pro's: -Variable Speed for required situations. -Compact and Good looking design -Timer equipped -An efficient and well made filter design -A UV-C light to destroy germs. Cons: -Speed 3 (High) is very loud and vibrates the floor below just slightly. -Speed 2 (Medium) feels like it is more low than medium.

Massively effective and beguiling designed
I use the PureZone 3-in-1 True HEPA Air Purifier in my office, because I spend more time there than anywhere else, and let's face it, my coworkers are just covered in germs. ;) Plus, I like to keep my windows open despite the canary waves of ragweed that have me surrounded. Happily, I have one ally on my side, this beautiful little air purifier that slaves away all day to create a microcosm of clean, fresh breathing air. Since using it, not only has the stale old-building odor disappeared completely, but I am feeling remarkably fewer allergy symptoms. I am so happy with its effectiveness that I'm going to buy another unit for my bedroom and then I'll basically be invincible. I almost can't wait for flu season to start. Its design is so sleek and clean that it's a shame to put it on the floor. Personally, I like to keep it close by me so I can hug it from time to time, but you may use the flat surface of your choice. (It's powerful enough to filter 200 square feet of air.) Isn't everyone as tired as me of that dated black and silver plastic design? In contrast, the crisp shining curves and airy white color make this unit look as pure as the clean air it's exhaling. And the easy access control panel contains a simple set of illuminated buttons that are as intuitive as they are elegantly designed. I think someone ought to get a raise for that panel design. It has an indented carrying handle behind, should you need to move it around. I just love everything about the design of this air purifier. It arrives ready to go. You only have to pull off the front panel (which is simply and appealingly attached with magnets) and unwrap the filter from its plastic bag. Then plug it in and away it goes. Its 3-in-1 filter consists of: 1. Activated Carbon (absorbs formaldehyde (e.g. glues, adhesives, and coatings), benzene (e.g. cigarettes, gas), and other smelly gases) 2. HEPA (captures dust, smoke, pollen, and other allergens) 3. UV-C Light (destroys micro-organisms like germs, viruses, bacteria, and fungi (e.g. toxic mold)) It has a "replace filter" light and will last for ~6 months. Replacement filters are available on Amazon and will run you around $15. Air Purifier Replacement Filter - 3-in-1 True HEPA Filter Compatible with PureZone Air Purifier You should also remove and clean the top layer of the filter ("pre-filter") once a month by vacuuming it off (or if necessary, washing it with soap and water.) The sound is just the most beautiful even hushed noise. It's almost non-existent on low, but ultimately a very peaceful subconscious white noise at any level. The air purifier has a brilliant night mode, in which it becomes even quieter (!) and extinguishes the UV-C Light (and the light of the buttons). The unit is designed so you can choose if you want the light off or the sound quieter... or any possible combination. The unit comes with a timer function that allows it to run continuously, or for 2, 4, or 8 hours. Lastly, I just wanted to mention that the Pure Enrichment customer service is well deserving of your trust. I haven't had any issues with this unit, but I've spoken with them on other occasions and am completely sold on the integrity, respectfulness, and congeniality of this company. They really make customer satisfaction a priority.

Excellent for bedroom
This is an initial review after a few days of use. We're elderly, late seventies (if that's a factor in your case.) Wife was just tested for allegories and found to be sensitive to airborne contaminates. So we decided that a quality air filter would be useful in our bedroom. After reviewing several units, I decided on this one. Initial setup is straightforward, the only problem I ran into was the removal of the front cover. Before first use, the cover must be removed to access the remove 3-in-1 filter to remove the plastic covering the filter. Afraid if i pulled too hard or in the wrong place, I'd break to cover. Turned out the cover is held on with two strong magnets and you simply pull the top front of the cover. After this you simply plug it in and its working. For the first day we left running on high, turning it to low at bedtime. As the small LED lights bothered my wife, she switched the unit to "sleep mode" (runs in low and LEDs turn off.) With just a few days of use, my wife stated she loves the unit. The filters are easy to get to (they can be removed is just a few seconds) to clean or replace. Its really "super quiet". And we can tell its making a difference in air quality. Maintenance involves cleaning the filter once a month. It involves running your vacuum brush over the filter to clean it. There's a porous foam pre-filter that can be removed and washed in the sink. The filter is recommended to be replaced every 6 months. (Two replacement filters cost $35 for a box of two on Amazon. Consists of pre-filter, a carbon filter and a MERV-13 filter.) The UV-C light in the unit is designed to kill bacteria and microorganisms. It's stated in the user manual that it's to be replaced every 12 months; and a new bulb can be purchased on the PureZone website ($25.) There are also similar UV bulbs listed on Amazon at less cost. The LEDs on top of the machine indicate on/off, filter clean, fan speed, UV light on/off, sleep mode on/off and timer (2hr, 4hr, 6hr or continuous.)

Don't trust the square footage rating advertised
As others have stated, even on high this fan does not pump out a lot of CFM, and of course it makes sense considering it's super quiet. The fan does take awhile to "fill" your room with filtered air, so if you're like me and you have a room with really leaky doors (huge undercuts) and windows (jalousies, which are VERY leak prone) you will need to run this on high 24/7. However, once you get it going, it really does work. The air quality in my room is very much improved and I don't feel like I'm breathing in the excessive amounts of dust from the carpet in my room, however I can't help but feel as though something a little bit bigger and beefier would be more effective at cleaning my room because of how prone it is to leaking. My room is about 110 sqft and this unit is allegedly rated for 200 sqft, but as others have said, I would not go beyond 100-120 sqft. 200 is way too big and wouldn't work unless you have an airtight space. Otherwise, very simple to set up, elegant and sleek design. Does't get in the way and looks like it belongs in a bedroom. Handy sleep mode and the UV light does indeed help with the air quality. The LEDs are extremely bright though, but you can easily combat this by putting a dark colored paper towel (brown ones) on top of the controls before you go to bed. This is probably one of the best models in the $50-$100 range. They're a dime a dozen at this price point but I think it's worth paying the extra few bucks for this model. There's an even bigger model out there though; you'll probably get better performance out of the $149 model that's sold here on Amazon. Wish Amazon lets you do decimal stars. I think 4* is too much, but 3* is too little - I'd rate this something like a 3.8 - 3.9.

Fantastic All Around! Looks Great and Works Even Better! Saved from Indoor and Outdoor Allergies
I wanted to wait on writing a review until I had actually had the chance to use it and compare the changes. First some back story, My boyfriend has really severe seasonal outdoor allergies and is allergic to my cat. VERY ALLERGIC. Since the cat was here first though, the cat isn't going anywhere =^..^=. I just moved into my new apartment and I waited about a week before I brought my cat over. In that week my bf was over and he was mostly ok with his allergies. AS soon as I brought my cat and he was there for one day, the allergies began (thankfully the bf doesn't live with me). Now I am very clean person. I vacuum the carpet and furniture in every room everyday and wipe down all surfaces. My cat gets bathed 2-3 times a month and brushed daily with the hopes of keeping the pet dander and fur to a minimum. It just didn't seem to be enough though. The cat was in the apartment for about a week before the unit arrive and within a week you could tell the apartment was starting to develop a 'smell'. It wasn't necessarily awful, but you could smell that people (my roommate and I, with guests and cat) were occupying the space. The smell of feet after a long days work would hit your nose as you entered (shoes are off at the entrance) and the range didn't do much for removing lingering food odors. The unit has been running on high with the UV light on for about 2 weeks non stop and there has been a notably MASSIVE improvement in the entire apartment in smell and allergies. Before, my bf would walk in and within 5-10 min the allergy symptoms would start. The itchy watery eyes, sneezing, swelling of the nose and throat, mucus; the whole enchilada. Now he can comfortably be in my apartment for hours and not be completely miserable. He has even spent the night several times now! The first place I set the purifier in was the living room. Although its not recommended for that much square footage it really did make a difference. Within 2 days I noticed the smell of occupied space had completely disappeared. It was running on high for about 5 days before my bf mentioned there was a notable difference in air cleanliness in the living room. Afterwards, I moved it to my bedroom; as that's where the cat spends most of his days sleeping, and again within 2 days the air was pure enough for my boyfriend to be able to spend the night. I still vacuum everyday and wipe down all the surfaces to continue the reduction of allergens, but this air purifier has really been a godsend to him and the apartment. I wont go into too much detail on how to use the machine, since there are plenty of other reviews that do. Once you slip the filter out of the plastic the magnetized lid pops back on and just plug n go. I love that the purifier has many different settings based on your needs, such as duration, speed, sleep and UV. The replacement filter reminder probably being one of my favs as I tend to forget everything. The low setting is insanely silent, the medium is but a whisper, and the high is a great low white noise or standard fan sound. The High setting really moves some air though. I opened the unit the other day to check the pre-filter and I was astounded by how much cat hair and my hair was stuck to it. I lightly vacuumed it and let the unit resume its duty. The unit is a perfect height (about 4 inches below the knee) and so aesthetically pleasing. It seamlessly blends into the apartment no matter where it is placed. This air purifier works like a dream and I'm very happy with my purchase. The only complaint I have is that there isn't a larger sized unit approved for bigger square footages as I'll have to go with a different brand and do more research. Hope this review helps!

Little yet just as effective as bigger sized air purifiers for a 500 sq ft room
I have been using the PureZone 3-in-1 True Hepa Air Purifier consistently since it arrived 5 days ago. I just want to say how amazed I am with this little product. Not only is its design sleek, it functions beyond my expectation. I previously used the Claritin 30-inch purifier in my office, but the way its air stream flows (from the back of the unit), it creates a big draft of air which made it uncomfortable to use in an A/C environment. It also required some thinking as to where to place the unit so that the air doesn't blow directly at me or the air doesn't bounce back at me. The PureZone Air Purifier on the other hand blows the clean air upwards so placement of this unit does not require planning or much thinking. Best of all, I have not had any discomfort using it in the office. I especially like not having papers and lightweight items on my desk being blown away. Although the PureZone Air Purifier is quite small, it functions just as good as the Claritin Air Purifier, which is more than half the size of the PureZone. My office is about 500 sq ft. The PureZone Air Purifier makes the air around me just as clean and as fresh as the bigger sized Claritin Air Purifier. Also, this unit is very easy to use. It has 3 settings plus a UV-C light to kill bacteria, which can be turned off. It also has 3 timer settings so that I can set the unit to run for a certain amount time--2, 4 or 8 hours--without having to worry about forgetting to turn it off. As for the noise level, the lowest setting is very quiet. In fact, I have actually forgotten that I had the unit on (this is when the timer setting comes in handy). At the med and high settings, the noise is still within reasonably range. I can still hear the radio or be on the phone without feeling being interrupted. Furthermore, I also use the PureZone at home in the bedroom at night. Because it is small and lightweight, it is super easy to transport from point A to point B. Thanks, PureZone. Your products have not disappointed me so far!

My Best Friend
Seriously, this little guy is fantastic. I've owned it for over two years now, and haven't had a single issue. I suffer from asthma as a complication of Lyme's, so air quality can make or break me on any given day. I'm sensitive to fumes, have trouble breathing sometimes, and pollen can destroy me on the right day. My house is also full of dust and mold, and I know that can't help matters. When I first bought this, I set it up in the basement near the mold, and the filter picked up so much mold so quickly, it was pretty eye-opening! It cleaned up the smell and air quality very quickly, which is pretty impressive; our house is small, but the basement is prone to flooding, so there's always a mold smell. This thing is wonderful for when I'm sick, or when there's a smell in the air that's making me feel horrible. I've read people say the suction isn't too strong, but that's not entirely true. I had this running on the floor for quite a while, and the fan is the perfect strength to pull air through, but not strong enough to pull in large debris such as animal hair and dirt. So it doesn't clog your filter too quickly picking up unnecessary things! You can put your fingers by the vents and feel the air pull. Filters last between 3-6 months, depending on use, and you can buy generic refills for cheaper than name brand, so you shouldn't have to fret too much over the cost. We ended up getting a massive dehumidifier for the basement, and even that thing has a lot of trouble getting all the water out of the air, so I'm even more impressed at what this little purifier was able to do. IF YOU HAVE A MOLD PROBLEM, I definitely recommend getting both and running them together for optimum results. I sleep soooo much better with this running at night, and it even has a night mode where it runs on the quietest setting and turns the light off up top. I find myself sleeping much better when it's on (I keep it right next to my bed). If you have any sort of breathing problem, I can't recommend this air purifier enough. If I can get some extra money, I've been eyeing up a larger model of this for the living room. Heck, if I could, I'd have one of these for every room of my house! UPDATE: This little fella's been so fantastic, we bought a second one for our house, and I bought one for my dad's house that has mold damage. In one day, it eliminated a LOT of musky smell, and convinced him already to buy another one! My original one is still used often and going strong. I don't think I'll ever try a different brand just because this one is so perfect.

I have 3 that are 8 years old. One just died, just the fan blade. It was replaced with another. See I like them for the bedrooms.
