I'll start by saying that I have owned, groomed, and shown dogs for about 50 years, primarily Shih Tzu, Cavaliers, and Yorkies. I normally use my favorite Oster Clipper. I was away from home and needed a clipper to do some clean-up on a dog without my clippers. I bought this from Amazon despite some of the negative comments. I needed it fast. What a great clipper. It is quiet, works well and holds a charge. For the price, you can't beat it, and it comes with some tools to sweeten the sale. Certainly, if you want to spend $150-$200, go buy an Oster with interchangeable blades, which will cost you extra. If you are a hobby groomer, go with this. I will probably use it more than planned, as it is light and easy to handle.

My girl got into some nasty burrs and matted her entire self - like Fort Knox. Her long blond hair turned from gorgeous curls to a solid mass with tons of sticky burs all in her. Then she got wet - and she locked up. Cutting her hair costs me 175 minimum because she is a big girl. She takes the groomer 3-4 hours, and she costs me a lot. The scheduling, the time, the money - it's all a lot. I was very nervous to try to cut her hair, especially because I would have to shave her down to the skin (the professional groomers also said so). So I am like, this dog acts like I am ending her life when I try to clip her nails, so grooming her myself is going to be a huge mistake. But I decided to try anyway. I got this trimmer after reading a ton of reviews. Many of the reviews said it doesn't work well on thick doggy hair or doodle hair, but many of the other reviews said it works great. But all the other clippers say the same thing. I decided to try this one due to the low price point - as a starter shaver. Well, I did an ok job. 3 little nicks cause in some spots I tried against the grain - and she is bald. Not only that but the sound didn't scare her, she didn't act like I was ending her life and she was so easy to redirect her little bits of anxiety with just a small treat here and there. I had to recharge a few times - the clippers were still working but they seemed to slow a few times. Charging them up gave her a break. So over the span of 3 hours she is balder than the day she was born. All the burs are gone - she has a fresh blank canvas to grow back in. PROS: Low noise, cuts her hair (thick wavy golden doodle, x-large breed), easy to use, nice attachments, ok battery life (probably way better with a smaller and less thick haired dog), sliced right through mats easily. Easy to clean. CONS: Wish it came with something better for the paws. The width of this blade is just a little much and I'm definitely afraid I will cut her and she will never trust the clipper again in my hands. NOTES: You need to oil this! every 1/2 hour you spend on really intensive clipping, stop, clean the hair off and put 2-3 drops of oil. Clipper/razor oil is really cheap - don't be afraid to use it! Charge it more often than it says. It works great - but the clippers start to sound sad, plug it in for a bit.

I purchased the clipper for use on my rescue cat. She has beautiful coat, but had some mats underneath that were there when I got her. Though I purchased different brushes and combs, I could see that I couldn't get the matted fur completely. Her fur is like wool. I went looking for a product that would work well and read reviews prior to deciding on this specific clipper. First I noticed how quiet it was. It did an amazing job in the hair clipping. It went over her very smoothly, it never pulled her hair or skin. I was very careful clipping and was so easy and safe to use. I has a variety of attachments, and I used just one in the process. I wish I had had this clipper when I had my long hair pups my Spaniel and my Westie. At that time, I spend lots of money on a variety of clippers none which worked great. I'm not one to leave to many reviews, but this product is worth my time to say how appreciated it is. Impressive product at an affordable price. My cat appreciates it too. She looks beautiful,

After finding my purchase, As it was in front my door then moved to my mailbox to get off the floor due to maintenance 🙃 I was able to cut my dogs hair. The clippers have barely any noise and cut well. Only thing I suggest is that you will need to charge them for 8 hours to get full use. That's the only reason I gave a 4 star because I think that's a long time to charge. Other than that they work great and noise is minimal

These clippers are awesome! I love that they’re cordless, which makes them incredibly portable and easy to use. They’re also very quiet compared to other clippers I’ve used, which helped keep my dog calm during grooming. My dog has curly hair that mats very quickly, but these clippers cut through her coat smoothly without getting stuck in the mats like my old ones did. Since it was my first time grooming her with the new clippers, it took me about 30 minutes, but the clippers were lightweight, comfortable to hold, and easy to maneuver the entire time. After I finished, cleaning them was simple—I just used the included brush to remove the hair from the blades. Overall, I’m very impressed with these clippers and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for an easy-to-use grooming tool for their pets! This is a nice set with good size options. I’ve never trimmed a dog before, but was fostering a poodle that seemed like it would be hard to mess up. I first used the 9mm, but needed to go down to 6mm. Both worked really well. Easy to use, easy to clean. Very quiet and the dog didn’t react at all because of that. He was adopted a few days later, and I felt good sending him off with a fresh do. Pictures are a before and after

First time leaving a review but had to because this shaver was so shockingly good! I'm always skeptical of products and read tons of reviews before buying, so when I seen all the reviews and people saying how good it was, I wanted to give it a try. Fast deliver, great packaging. The box comes with a sealed sticker that once torn shows void on it so you know if its been opened or not. Comes with attachments, oil, scissors, comb, charger, and easy to read instructions. This thing was surprisingly very quiet with low vibration. I have two Shih tzu puppies both very skittish. They were not scared feeling it move on them. Butter, it 100% is smooth like butter. I'm always so careful to never hurt them and this thing is perfect for eliminating that fear. It has a plastic blade, I was able to use no guard and they were fine. It does get warm sooner than I expected but never hot, I would suggest turning it off every so often during use to keep it cool. If you have never shaved squirmy dogs this is def beginner friendly!

Love this! It is a lot quieter than the one I used previously. My fur baby didn’t shake or try to hide when I used it. It is smaller than some that makes it easier to handle when using. Great price too!

Jag har en liten blandras tik, (Cairnterrier / dvärgpudel / springer spaniel) som jag klipper själv. Har vi flera år kämpat med olika trimmers och var på gränsen till att betala någon annan för att klippa henne när jag kom över denna fantastiska maskin, och för ett mycket bra pris dessutom! Works amazing well. Very light weight. Came fully charged. No problem going through my shitzapoo’s 4 inch coat. Small enough to do a fantastic job on the feet and pads and the face, but tough enough to do the body. Price is more than reasonable for its quality. Scissors were sharp and did a good job with final touch ups.

This was a very nice set of clippers however so not buy these if you are looking for clippers to shave an angora rabbit. These clippers would not cut angora fur at all. Probably great for a dog or cat.
