Cannot use?!
Bought this for Christmas morning and cannot set it up. No instruction manual - cannot find a troubleshooter online to help fix any potential errors. Now to probably have to go through a long and drawn out returns process. So disappointed we couldn;t just open it, charge for 90 mins and get going. If anyone has any tips in the meantime, I'd appreciate it

Battery life and water activation
(Please note do to location and timing this test was done in a bathtub)Here we go again with another product line up from Syma. This time around it's a speed boat. I didn't rely expect to them to go this far out. Mostly I've seen drones and quad-copters from this company. However (literally. Thank you product algorithm) this came up in my recommendations. So, I took the bite on this one to see how it stacks against there other products.I'm going to summarize this entire review into separate segments:Build Quality:3.5/5- It's not bad, but against there quad-copters and drones this one is a little more fragile on the touch. About 99 percent of its entire body, plus controller is plastic (Despite the contrary). It should however be able to with stand bumps and collisions (the boat) against hard surfaces, or on a bumpy cruise. The controller I can't say much for I mean it's meant for one thing controlling the boat lol.Battery life:5/5- Awesome Awesome Awesome. Both 14500 batteries combined for the boat will last around, or near the 40 minute mark. That I'm grateful for it gives a whole new meaning to family vacation out by the lake 😊.Controls:4/5- The controller is a weird one at that. Mostly I've seen dual stick remote controls for just about any 2.4ghz enabled toys. This is an analog to it. It has a single tire control, and a forward acceleration. The tire turns left or right with the acceleration driving it. Limited, but simplistic.Other tidbits:The boat is water activated in most bodies of water. The controller doesn't come with 2 AA batteries, but anyone can purchase these from a retailer near them. The boat itself is nearly water tight (Despite being test in a bathtub) you just have to remember to dry out the innards after a round on the water. Now, honestly for it's retail price (and any coupons) it's not a bad buy for your low income consumer, hobbyists, or a children's toy (with parental supervision). One final note the boat works on water, but isn't water proof completely. The batteries inside the boat may get wet. So, just dry them off before charging it up again.

Like a kid again..
This RC Boat is a blast. The instructions are simple & easy. I found the remote user friendly with good ergonomics. I’m not a kid, we are two adults & a pool & had a great time.We need a second one to race each other. The battery life does not disappoint, the mfr included a second battery for the boat which is great. The boat does not right itself if it tilts over but as you can see from the video it takes a lot to tilt it over. I let my friends kids play with it & they wanted to take it home. Of course I didn’t let them! Would buy again!
