As an oven mitt they are perfect.. quite expensive but they certainly do the job.

These mitts ably protect hands from very high heat and their puppet structure makes it easier to grasp oven-hot vessels. However, I'm disappointed that they are one-size-fits all that is too large for people with small hands. If you can't get a secure grip on a hot dish/container you risk serious burns and increase the possibility of dropping your carefully prepared meal. If these mitts were also offered in a smaller size, they'd be perfect.

Beautiful but very poor quality. One of the seams at the front between fabric and rubber came undone with the first use. Pity these cannot be washed properly as this is a kitchen item and will get dirty easily. Normally I am impressed with Cuisineart brand items but this one will get a miss from me.
