Handy smoker
Good sized smoker that's a decent height for using whilst standing. Grilled perfectly well by have the coal pit mounted on top shelf.Instructions pretty poor - 2 exploded views in manual shows grilling plates taking different positioning order but the one with handles likely for upper shelf to allow removal to access lower (would be my guess) .Manual actually says the one with handles is the "lower" grill but is numbered as upper on the second view. You can download manual for the product here and see. Video seems to use 2 x grill plates with handles......Doesn't clarify if you can put coal pit on the upper shelf for grilling, which is exactly what I did and it would have been impossible for those flames to be visible that high in the video if not.Lid a bit of a pain to get on, would have done with a small taper. Front door a bit gappy too.Overall a really nice smoker /grill.

Great for smoking
Have used it to smoke brisket, pork ribs and gammon at Christmas. Kept its temp at around 225-250 for easily 7-9 hrs with charcoal and wood chunks. Really impressed.

Ball of flames in the garden
Very serious risk of injury or damage to property.Smoker/grill arrived today, so thought I’d take it for a spin and cook some dinner. Lit the grill as per instructions, and when it started to get up to temperature the paint on the outside started to blister and then very quickly caught light, resulting in a ball of flame in the garden and molten paint dripping on the patio! Luckily the dog was far enough away that he didn’t go up in flames with it. I’m short - do not buy this, the paint is not fireproof (as you’d expect from a bbq) and there is a very real risk of injury and damage to property due to a poor quality item.
