The main reason for me buying this beautiful cosmotology training mannequin head doll kit for myself, is to learn how to do cornrows on my daughter's hair, This is the first time I ever purchasing one! I'm glad I did! I been doing hairstyles for a quite awhile on my synthetic wigs, lace fronts, any wigs, and wear them whenever I want to change up my look lol ! I also been watching YouTube videos on natural hairstyles to do on my daughter's hair for school, occasions, etc. as well, this change the game for me and in wanting to expand more and learning more as I go! Give me something to do in my spire time.. I love doing hair, it's therapeutic for me something I am passionate about. I also love the length of this mannequin head it's very easy to manage, easy to put together, you will have lose strands of hair as you comb the mannequin head, but it hold up pretty well! The length of this hair It's only "16" inches long, which is manageable for me to work with, it comes with everything you need to start your future hairstyle! I love it! This was a great product for my purposes. I bought this for a slightly different reason than most people will probably do. I donated this to a lighting team. Preparing the lights can be a pretty time consuming process so they always try and do as much as they can ahead of time. They do so using mannequin heads. All the mannequin heads that had been donated to this NFP were pale as a ghost white ones. Which meant they always had to ask people to come early to adjust the lighting. To be fair they were aware this is an issue and really wanted new ones but it wasn’t in the budget as donations are down. I donated this head along with a couple others that had varying tones to the lighting team. My mother was a professional colorist for a photographer, so I’m aware of the presence of undertones to people’s skin and how that affects lighting. I looked hard for mannequin heads with realistic undertones. The feedback I received was that these all worked great and were realistic enough they no longer had issues lighting peoples hands. Apparently the hands were the hardest thing to get right. I can’t say about the quality of the hair, but the tones of the mannequins skin are realistic enough it was able to allow the lighting team to finally light people of color properly.

C'est normal que des cheveux tombent hein. Si tu manipules avec douceur comme je l'ai fait avec les cheveux, y a pas plus de cheveux qui tombent qu'une petite boule de poils de chat. C'est très bien pour pratiquer à faire des tresses je trouve.

My granddaughter loves doing hairstyles and is nearing a time that she will not play with dolls. I showed her the mannequin heads and right off she wanted this one. She loves it and hasn’t put it away since it arrived. We are both pleased by her purchase.
