Is this better than zinc sunscreen for hyperpigmentation on the face?

My understanding is probably not. The silicone is primarily to heal scars. The fact that it contains some sun protection in this formulation doesn’t change that it is intended to be used on small areas for that purpose and not primarily as a sunscreen.
