I have a golden retriever and want to get the black one for him but am concerned that the color would attract the sun and make him more hot?

I have the black one for my Malinois. It does get hot under the vest, but since the vest is a little big on her the air gets through pretty good. I would say if it's going to be a snug fit on your dog and your dog has longer hair, then the black one might make him a bit too warm.

Having trouble deciding between l and xl. my doberman has a chest of about 27" and neck at about 23". Which vest would fit the best? He is about 97lbs

Our Doberman (2 year old) is 93 lbs. Neck is 21" and he is 35 around the rib cage. His harness is a large. The back straps adjusts easily to accommodate him.

Will the sixe xs fit a finer dog, like a miniature pinscher? The space between his front legs is 2inch

MY guess would be the XS...We got a med for our German Shephard..and with that said we had to really size it down to fit her...But hey this is Amazon..you can always return it...It's a nice vest for the dog

What size would be best for a greyhound?

I believe a medium would be best. My lab is a little on the long & narrow size and I purchased a medium for her. It's fits great and also adjustable. She is also about 54lbs. And she loves the vest, doesn't bother her at all.

GREAT build quality harness

Sizing was a little bit difficult as my dog was right between sizes, that aside the quality is great and light on my husky. The clips are good heavy quality and so far nothing has caused me any concern even with my husky testing its limits
