I’m starting my second bottle of this kava. I mix one dropper full with cherry juice 30 minutes before bed. I am out like a light within that amount of time. Sometimes I will use it if I need to just relax during the day. No side effects for me, very calming. Doesn’t make me sleepy if I’m not ready for sleep. I was using Sprouts brand kava but I like this one even better. This one has a much sweeter taste mixes much better with the cherry juice. If you’re familiar with kava and are looking to try a brand on Amazon, I would recommend this one.

This stuff is great for sleep, BUT.. I highly recommend you take it diluted in water. I actually physically had it burn my throat. I thought it was a fluke until it actually happened to my husband also, then I felt bad that I didn't properly warn him. It made for a pretty miserable night when it first happened. I couldn't stop coughing, then it felt like there was something stuck in my throat all night. Then, there was a residual burn in my throat for about two and a half days. Not sure, exactly what's in it that causes this, but I would be curious to know if anyone else has had this happen to them also. It definitely helps relax you so that you can get a good night's sleep, so we continue to take it but we always dilute it with a mouthful of water before we swallow it.

Not as strong as I was hoping it would be. Tastes like honey, not bad. Does help me relax, but not really what I was looking for personally. I would buy regular kava root powder and prepare it myself next time. For the sale it was on, it was worth the money. I think it's a good product for people who are new to kava and wanting to see what it's all about. Easy to use. Not for me, but not a bad product.

Im very disappointed with this product, for me it had absolutely no effect. The taste was fine but I didn’t buy it for the flavor. I seriously do not recommend this product. It’s just sugar syrup. I want my money back! $20 down the drain!

I love this stuff! Really works wonders. I took it consistantly - 3 times a day for around a month and noticed a huge difference in my dmeanor. I felt more calm, relaxed, able to feel less stressed. It was very helpful to me during the winter Holiday Season where I tend to have a lot of social anxiety. Taste was a little like black licorice at first (which I am not a fan of) but I have grown to tolerate/like the flavor.

I bought this to go in my coffee at work, which was perfect and didn’t ruin the taste at all. The stopper has the 1ml marker on the glass so you can measure your dosage out. I personally didn’t notice any strong health effects but it is different for everyone. I did notice it amplified my pain relief when paired with one ibuprofen, stronger than just the pill. I do plan to keep buying this one, it has a good oil texture and amount for the money.
