75% goose down duvet which does not fluff up
I received this "100% Siberian goose down luxurious king duvet" on 29 Jan 2021 but held off reviewing it until 24 Feb 2021 as I wanted to give it a fair trial.Sadly, it'd seem that quite a number of the reported flaws are correct.1. It was super flat upon opening the vacuum pack. After laying it out to air for more than 3 weeks, plus throwing it in my tumbler dryer twice, the loft is still not there!2. My tag also states "minimum 75% down" and not the 100% as advertised (see picture). It was also printed "made in China" but that is not an issue with me as most things are nowadays. Peculiarly, the tag omits the country of origin of the goose down3. When I held the duvet up to the light, it is readily apparent that the down filling is unevenly distributed with some square boxes allowing quite a bit of light through. This was reported in another user's review4. I don't quite understand what a baffle box stitch is. The stitching on my Duvet seemed rather ordinary5. There are no cleaning or care instructions on the included tagsNow for the good points1. The duvet is Responsible Down Standard certified2. The duvet has passed the OEKO-TEX standard 100 for harmful substances3. The duvet does rustle but this is not louder than my previous synthetic fill duvet. Neither does it affect my sleep4. There is no discernible smell5. The outer 100% cotton covering (advertised as 1200 thread count Egyptian cotton) is smooth to the touch. But I still use a duvet cover to protect it.If you are looking for a 100% goose down with the country of origin for the down clearly stated, this duvet may not be for you.I am also disappointed that my duvet failed to fluff up after prolonged use.

Love this comforter.
Super comfortable and light and well worth the price. Excellent quality that I didn't think I'd find again. And without the dreaded returns of trying something and it not right. It feels like the same one I bought in 2007 at BB&B on Christmas Day for half off and that was $250. So normally a $500 comforter and as a matter of fact I still have it although the feathers are kind of falling out. I'll probably just need to take it to a seamstress and have her resell a few things but I'm still keeping that as I am going to keep this.Incredible feel and very warm for an L2. The design is great. I haven't washed it yet but on order to fluff it I basically put it in the dryer for an hour on delicates with no heat. It did come sealed in a small box but it was absolutely perfect after an hour on fluff with no heat.I will end up buying another one when I get a king size bed. All I need now is a duvet that feels just like this comforter. There was no scent as some people mentioned. It smelled fresh right out of the box.

1 year review
I’ve had the blanket for a year and it’s the best down comforter I’ve ever owned or that money could buy. Period.I’ve gone through so many down blankets that lost feathers, that weren’t true down feathers, lost loft, became flat, etc.I have had so many BAD blankets that I was scared to buy this one. It’s not like $134 is expensive but it ain’t cheap for another flat down comforter.I’m telling y’all that my FLOOFS was FLOOFY the second I unfolded it and it’s so FLOOFS that I have to be careful getting into bed because, my cat sinks into it and I can’t see him over the FLOOFY MOUNTAIN.This was the best thing I’ve EVER bought on the internet and I’m telling you all to stop reading reviews and BUY FLOOFS!I live in the arid, bitter, blowy, cold, high desert of San Diego and this blanket is so toasty and cozy I have a hard time waking up in the morning but I love piling into that big cloud of lusciousness every evening.I’ve lived in the ice box that is Northern Michigan and I wish I found this blanket then.I’ve had zero feather loss, zero feather bunch up with flat spots, zero buyers remorse.ALL CAPS CRAZY BECAUSE I LOVE MY FLOOFS! BUY THIS FLOOFS!

Nice quality for the price
I have had down products my entire life, as I have lived in northern states where it is very cold in the winter. Down cannot be beat for it's warmth vs. weight. This is a great comforter for the price point and equal to higher priced duvets from other companies. The "crinkle" in the cover fabric is a feature of percale cotton and will soften with wear and washing. Yes, this comforter is washable with a gentle detergent and warm water. Dry with a clean tennis shoe or new tennis balls in the dryer and your comforter will fluff up like new. The baffles will prevent down from shifting too much. A duvet cover will keep this clean, can be removed and washed and duvet put back in. I do this when my cover becomes soiled and it greatly extends the life of your duvet. Down is a natural product, as is cotton. When tightly encased and unable to breathe, gases may develop which dispel when the product is allowed to breathe again. This is natural and is not due to any chemical treatment by the company. I feel rather badly for the company representatives who have to repeatedly explain features of their products to uninformed consumers. Google is available to explain some features of natural fibers and products such as down that you may not understand. Rather like explaining to someone who complains about ordering a "duvet cover" but they received two sheets sewn together with button holes and buttons.
