Honest review
Very good quality, gave my dishes the taste I was looking for. It has a good expected spice level, smells freshly preserved, appeared still fresh and soft with a crunch. Glad it was delivered in good condition, only a couple were crushed, but I didn't mind, nothing gets wasted!

Must have for Indian cuisine! These chilis are so fresh, colorful and fragrant. They are milder so I wouldn't consider them hot by any means, a little spicier than a chili Colorado not as spicy as a jalapeno. Melt some ghee and sauté a few of these with some cumin seeds for a savory flavorful garnish to soups, veggies, bread! So delicious and an excellent value in this bulk size

Love the flavor!
We use these to add a nice umami layer to our cooking (sure, we’ll add it when we’re cooking Indian food, but we’ve been going through a gnocchi and sauce phase - and 2 of these peppers tossed whole into the pan while you’re sauteeing the gnocchi … chef’s kiss!), and a gentle heat to whatever they’re in. If we want more heat, we just break open the pod and let some of the seeds out into whatever we’re making. These have a really nice, complex texture and I’m delighted with their quality.

If you're serious about cooking Indian choose the best
Rani brand is my "go to" for Indian spices. Having moved away from major metro areas we traded societal ills to searching online to fill our pantry with international spices and goods. I had always purchased from Rani and was relieved to be able to purchase their products online.
