SÜA - ENiCl - 99% Nickel/Cast Iron Welding Electrode - 12" x 1/8" (5 STICKS)

I actually bought these for electroplating...not welding. The nickel rods work great for nickel electroplating. I removed all the flux and iron and used them to make homemade nickel acetate and also for the electroplating process itself.

Misleading... 1lb. Picture shows coming in a plastic rod box. But shipped in tape and bubble wrap.. so irritating.. rods look to be in good shape

These rods welded just as good as any from the local supply houses. They were packaged and sealed better than any I've seen.

Worked as described and desired to weld cast iron.

I needed to do a cast iron repair on a bench vise and these rods were perfect. Being able to buy only 5 rods was fantastic because I didn't need a lot of them. The rods are well packaged. It would be nice if the rods came with their specification sheet.

This stuff was the bomb for welding my cast iron well pump, which cracked due to freezing temperatures. I couldn't be happier.
