How long does it measure?

not long enough for a 7-3/8 or bigger head

would it be ok to wear in lightly cold weather or is it gonna burn me up? Trying to gauge the thickness and whatnot

Hi, I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. It doesn't get super cold here on regular basis. It's around 48 in the morning when especially cold but averaged 50s and low 60s currently in January. I think this hat works well enough for "lightly cold weather. It is not as thick and clingy as many this style and on the lighter knight weight.

is the tag or tab made of real leather?

I believe it is but it's a very thin piece
