Great novelty for journalists

Update: I left the journal opened in the garage for about a week, the damp smell is completely gone, it just smells like leather now. I’ve used watercolors on a page, which took some time to dry, but turned out nicely after drying.This journal is just the size I was hoping it would be. The leather is thick and supple. The pages are cottony and thick. It smells like it was wrapped when damp, so is a little musty smelling, it’s not a strong smell, I’m leaving it open on a bookshelf for several days to dry. I would repurchase. I like the look and rustic beauty.
