Learning Curve but Worth Every PENNY
I've gotten lots of ads lately featuring cups like these and I've been skeptical for a while, but now that I'm no longer taking birth control I was quickly reminded of how much money I spend on tampons and pads. Needless to say, this might be the best adult purchase I've made to date. I got it in first try (just lucky I guess) but after emptying and trying a second time it was a bit of a challenge. I probably should have practiced before my period started but that's on me. I checked obsessively for leaks but so far, there's been nothing on the liner I've worn to catch any stray blood. That being said, the cups are certainly not for everyone, and don't get discouraged if you're having a harder time learning to use it! I can see myself using these during my heavier days and then switching to just liners for the remainder of my cycle.

Pleasantly Surprised!
As a long time user of cardboard applicators and having to buy them online since its difficult finding them elsewhere, its been an amazing transition. I have had painful periods since I first started my period and as I have gotten older I have had to take breaks between tampon use, but I dont need to with this.Even with a heavy flow like mine, I can last the entire day without removal which is helpful because if you do remove and clean in a public place, I would highly recommend a handicap stall for sink usage.I attempted with the large one first, but I do not have any kids so the smaller one works best for me. It is very comfortable even when I am cramping and having sciatic pain. It doesn't add to the pain, which is helpful since tampons have started to cause me issues. Some recommendations:1. Look up online different fold and finding one that works best for you.2. Check to make sure it has opened fully by feeling the sides prior to going on with your day.3. Give it a little tug to make sure it is in place.4. Do not create a suction by squeezing and releasing, this will cause painful cramping. Let it sit/suction naturally, do not add to it.All in all, I highly recommend the transition. Not only is it great for the environment, its is great on your plumbing, bathroom trash, and your costs.I dont normally spend so much time writing a review of this caliber, but I am just that grateful for the introduction from Reese Witherspoon in "This Means War." I had never heard of these before that movie.

Pro/con
Pro- it doesn't come out easy. Con- it does not come out easy. But it does last all day or even over night as well. So just take a shower and pop it out (with some effort) and wash it at the same time.

Why did it take me this long to get one??!!
I originally purchased the menstrual cup to use as an aid for TTC. There were a few ladies that posted on one of the brands that has an app that they used their menstrual cups to prevent leakage so there would be a slightly better chance for conception. But since I had never used a menstrual cup before I knew I would probably have a harder time accomplishing my goal.I had an IUD removed September 2024 after having had it inserted in April 2017, during that time I stopped having a period after month 3, so it had been years since having one and although jazzed to try to have a baby I wasn't looking forward to having my period back.I'm used to wearing tampons, but I noticed that my period isn't quite the same as it used to be, it's much lighter than before. I'm now on period 3 since the IUD removal and this period so far is a breeze with the menstrual cup โฅ๏ธ I watched a YouTube video on how to insert it in which the person recommended a different fold than what is recommended by the manufacturer and it worked perfectly fine. Once I got the hang of it I haven't had any leakage at all!!!I started with the small size since that's what's recommended for first time users or if you're having lighter days. I wore it for the majority of the first day to see if it was comfortable and I can say that it doesn't bother me at all. Then I tried wearing it the first night to see if it could hold up well like having a tampon and it did great! I did remove it when I woke up in the morning to take my BBT to give my body a break just in case, but other than that, it's been keeping the flow contained within the cup and not leaking out onto the pad.Menstrual cups have been around for many years now and I'm sad it's taken me till 35 to finally use one, but if it wasn't due to my desire to procreate I would've left the IUD for the few more months I had left of it and then got a new one reinserted to avoid having a period. Hopefully I'll be successful in having it work as a TTC aid along with being a menstrual cup, but if not then I will continue to use it as intended ๐

Great deal for the money
Recently went off IUD since having it placed 2 years ago after having a baby. I threw my last menstrual cup away for sanitary reasons after becoming pregnant. Using tampons again has proved to be messy and a hassle, so I quickly ordered these. Was not disappointed. I ordered the multipack with one small and one large, as I couldnโt decide on a size. The large is a bit uncomfortable, despite delivering a child vaginally a couple years ago, but not unusable. The small one seems perfect, no leakage or difficult insertion.

Buy two cups get a pube for free
I tried a menstrual cup several years ago before having kids and it was a lesson in futility. Constant leaking, feeling the need to check my clothes in the bathroom just in case, to say nothing of the short stem that left me panicking more times than not when it came time to empty the thing. Fast forward 6 years later and Iโm so over buying pads/tampons and the icky feeling of wearing them all day. I decided to give a silicone cup one more shot. I remembered all the tricks from last time and Iโm happy to report this one does not leak (or minimally compared to my earlier experience) and Iโve been so happy going about my day not wearing a soiled diaper. The long stem has poked me painfully a few times and needed to be readjusted but Iโll trade that for being able to reach it without problem and pull the sucker out when the time comes. My 2 stars off were because upon removing the cups from the silk bag a pube fell out so these were clearly used by someone and then returned which is pretty gross

Great alternative to tampons/pads!
Iโve hesitated for years to try these period cups. Honestly feel ridiculous for waiting so long! With all the information coming out about chemicals in tampons I finally gave this product a chance. Itโs made dealing with my monthly so much easier. And to be brutally honest, so much cleaner and less of a hassle. If youโre on the fence, just give it a chance. This product came with 2 size cups for heavy and light flow, a little satin bag to keep it in and a small book that has very useful information about cleaning the cups and how to use it. Highly recommend!!

Caused a 6 hour trip to the ER.
My second use of the cup resulted in 2 days of pain and emotional distress. After 7+ hours of trying to remove the cup after it had seemingly gotten lost in me and recruiting friends to fish it out, I went to the ER. They had never seen this issue before. It took 3 hours, 2 PAs, an OB, and sedatives to remove the cup. It had suctioned itself to my cervix. It was impossible to reach without medical equipment. Needless to say, it was a wildly uncomfortable and invasive experience. Would not recommend this brand.

Very effective, the booklet was easy to understand for beginners!
It works very well but there was a bit of a weird smell so it's best to clean it first before using it.EDIT: I've been using this for MONTHS now and I kid you not it has SAVED me so much money and time, I would definitely recommend this purchase since you'll definitely use it long-term!!!
