I'd taken straight Biotin caps for about 2 months w/o much success. I'm 63, having had Gastric Bypass surgery in 2006. I went from 274 lbs to 143 in about 10 months. I regained about 24lbs thru the past yr caused by an injury last Xmas. I miss my gardening SO much, including all mowing. That lack of excersise did it. Also, from my hubby, wkly chocolates from our finest candy store around. I'm having a nerve block on 10/16, so hopefully will lose that wt when able to do things again (both arm's feel broken). HUBBY HAS TO DO MOST HOUSEWORK NOW. ENUFF OF BORING RAMBLING: Since switching from straight Biotin to this ALIVE! brand of it, my nails no longer crack horizontally, like b4, no longer needing polish, hiding them. And my thin, frizzy hair is improving. It can go in a sm bun again. These vits. have many other supplements in them My only disappointment is they're easy to swallow caps, but not chewable. Their daily ones are wonderful, soft, chewables. They taste gr8 + make you WANT to take them. They don't get stuck together in the bottom, like others I've tried.

I love that these softgels are small and I have no problem swallowing them. I cannot swallow medium or big pills anymore. Good product! I wish all manufacturers would make smaller softgels or pills. thank you.

wow do these smell “vitaminey” !! gross but they do their job. also, do not take these before going to bed- the heartburn and vitamin burps are the worst. however, of all the hair,skin,nails vitamins- these have always made my hair grow the fastest and softest. they really are good vitamins!!

Nice vitamin but that pill hurts like hell going down.

These vitamins combine the best of a multivitamin with the added benefit of a hair skin and nail supplement at a very reasonable price and the softgels are small and easy to swallow. They are my new go to.

I would highly recommend this multivitamin. It supports hair, nails, and skin wonderfully and has truly boosted my confidence. The food-based fruit and veggie blend provides a natural feel, making consumption easy. It's definitely a product worth trying!

This vitamin is ok. I do not like that it has hyaluronic acid which can cause cancer cells to proliferate. Why not leave well enough alone and leave out the hyaluronic acid in hair, skin and nail vitamins. Some women on a breast cancer forum looked back after the research came out about hyaluronic acid and breast cancer and realized they were diagnosed after taking hyaluronic acid injections. I don't know if taking it orally is the same, but why risk your hair falling out because of chemo in the pursuit of trying to grow and thicken your hair. It totally defeats the purpose.

Takes a few weeks to see the difference, but my nails look a lot healthier. The tips are very white and they're not as brittle as they were. My naturally wavy hair looks healthier; has more of a natural shine. The skin is a large organ, so it might take a while to notice any difference. I will be buying more of this supplement.
