We ordered this for our lawn and for the lawn of some rental property. The product arrived, delivered to the front porch rather than having to drive around with it in the car! Instructions for use were very clear.

I have used this product in the past and I will admit it lasts me about 2 years between applications before I see the grass come up again. I've tried over the counter stuff to no avail and I had a landscaper fill me up a sprayer for free. Said give it a few weeks and that's about what it takes. You forget about it really and then you look and see oh there is no more of that nutsedge. I buy the one application because that's all I've ever needed. I have this crap coming up ever couple of years and this does the job. Eventually they find a way but it's at least a couple years before I see it again. Buy this if you want to get rid of that nutsedge grass and not have to worry about it for a long time. Dont have to worry about chemical storage and effectiveness this one application. Covers a lot of area. When something works you stick with it and this stuff works and granted not super cheap but also not really expensive considering a spray bottle of hose end crap is $10 and that doesn't work except feed the weeds.

Because the product details said "Low use rate. One Sedgehammer Plus packet per gallon of water". I thought it had two or more packets in each one so I brought two which would have been enough for my entire from and back yard! But instead it has ONE packet in each! It does not specify how much it has and fingered everyone should know that so they can purchase accordingly!Also by the way cause it does not specify if you know sedge or purple sedge by a different name you can use this on knuckle grass which by me is what we happen to know it by since we are not all professional landscapers or gardeners so of course not everyone knows what the heck sedge grass is!Don't be fooled you can dig around the plant to get up the whole weed but you will need to dig it up as we found out 8" in diameter around the plant and 18" down to make sure you get the whole thing and you have to throw away the dirt as you cannot see all the mini tiny little bulbs that you could end up leaving behind for the process to start all over again! Also to replace the dirt! You cannot save the dirt once you dig it up! We were told by professionals that you have to buy dirt that has been freed and cleared of all things so you don't end up with the same issue!So do you need to buy this no you don't, but do you want to have t dig up your whole yard and replace the dirt then reseed and by the time your lawn is back to the way it should be you will end up wasting two years as the roots of need seedlings takes that long to really get down deep into your soil so if you reseed you end up needed to place more down the next year to replace any that might have dies off because not all of them survive and you end you with the same vicious circle every year! So like I said you don't have to our have this, but why not purchase it? You end up saving your self a lot of money and time with purchasing this! Also don't mix anything into it other then just water as it already has everything you need right in the powder!
