(Wooden door hitting wooden frame)** A: I don’t think so it for that purpose. But i have used sof close hinges and then added studs on the door edges. No matter how harshly i close the doors, it does not damage the door or frames. We have these pads on our sofa/chair and it glides across laminate perfectly. For carpet you might find gliders are better, if you're using for sofa.
