ThorneVetJoint Support Formula – Dog & Cat Joint Health Support, 120 Soft Chews

My dog has been on Thorne's Joint Support for about 6 months now and it's fantastic. I prefer using the powder vs the chews as she's on other supplements. I mix this into her food and she'll slurp it right up. No issues.Would love a different measuring spoon, as the one provided with the product is kind of messy, but no big deal.

My 5 year old pit bull has been taking this product for about a year now. I read about it in an article on osteoarthritis in canines. My dog has a wide range of serious mobility issues. After 2 knee surgeries in the past 3 years, another surgery is not an option. At this point, I'm treating her issues using high quality food and nutrition to help ease her pain and slow the progression of the disease. Arthoplex is one of several products she receives daily. Others include Nordic Natural Omega 3 Pet; Standard Process Ligaplex II; Solid Gold Sea Meal; vitamin C, a probiotic, and prescription medications during flares. I can't say I noticed an immediate improvement after beginning this product; however, I wasn't expecting to. I believe this product, in combination with a high quality diet (Open Farm) and the other supplements mentioned, is slowing down the progression of her disease and allowing me to use less prescription medication. She's young, just 5 years old, so I'm assuming we'll need to increase prescription medication over time. I hope this review is helpful to others. I've learned a lot from reading through reviews, so wanted to be as comprehensive as possible.

I use Thorne’s supplements for myself so I was excited to see they made pet supplements. Trying to steer away from cosequin we tried the heart health supplement and the joint supplement and my dog absolutely refused to eat her food when it was mixed with it. We tried mixing it with peanut butter and that didn’t work. Tried adding a little water to it and then mixing it with a combo of wet and dry food and she still would not eat it. Call me crazy but I decided to taste a small amount of the supplement myself to see if I could notice anything and we’ll it tasted terrible and if a dog can smell the way it tasted to me I would also stay away from it. I should’ve listened to all the other reviews. Save your money and find a different option. I’m sure it works but the problem is your dog will most likely refuse to eat it. And no return policy so definitely don’t waste the money.

None benefit after two months of use and never liked to my dog at all, bad tasting and really bad smell.

This is an amazing product that works great for my dog. Definitely worth buying and at a good price!

So glad Thorne makes supplements for pets too because with so many pet supplement brands out there, Thorne is a brand you can trust.

Putrid smelling and inedible, both dogs refused to eat even if disguised in their regular food or some wet food. In general we actively purchase many of human based supplements and products from Thorne so I am not condemning the company, it is just this one specific product that did not work out for us. Thorne is a very reliable company and endorsed by thousands of physicians due to the quality of their products.
