How do you remove these from a stainless refrigerator?

Rubbing alcohol will disintegrate the glue, so just pop it off and then clean the sticky residue off the fridge with the rubbing alcohol.

I can not open the adjustable side of clasp after initial adjustment. I have tried everything to slide it over with no results. Is there a trick?

I have just bought similar ones and had no idea how to adjust, so thank you! I flicked up the middle plastic panel with finger, slid it out and removed... not very user-friendly or easy to see on instructions.

Is this safe to use on Walnut or could it ruin the wood?

Im not sure what type of wood we have. But I did test one of them on the wood. I removed it today after a few days being on it and nothing was damaged. I would say it safe

Who do I contact—package arrived empty!

If you start the return process it will ask you why you want to return and if you tell them it was empty, they will most likely replace it. Had that happen to me before
