At first I didn’t think it would suit my car because the footplate was at a funny angle it’s a Kia Sportage 2014 I went and tried again and just tried adjusting and it straightened it out , although the footplate is quite high I need to see if my husband can get his leg high enough to get on the foot plate , so I’m undecided as yet but it is very well made and easy to use if your flexible enough

I'm 5ft 9" I use this on the family car - nothing fancy as i know the kids being toddlers will wreck it. At this stage of our lives, reliability and ease of use are the most important things that i look for. Our car is a Vauxhall Zafria Tourer and we have a some decent roof bars (thule) with a epically huge roofbox from Farad. It's a 680L - a tardis. With 3 kids, two parents and a dog you'd think the 7 seats was enough but it's not. Packing for holidays are so much simpler with this tool especially when we're away from home. Setup is rapid. Took it out the packaging and used it within seconds. I'm was a bit dubious at first, being heavy at 18st but it's strong. Pulling bags up + my weight to put them in the box it hasn't not flexed, wobbled or warped. I've put full weight on it when standing on one foot when stepping up and also full weight with both feet when on tip toes. If we didn't have this, i'd have to bring a step with us and that's counter intuitive. I'd certainly buy this. Also - brother law saw me using one and he's an engineer. He was gobsmacked that he didn't think of that. It's so good he bought one too for use with his VW transporter. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

really useful to have in the car if you have SUV with roofbars

Used to put two kayaks on the roof of a Passat on my own. Honestly, I wouldn’t of been able to do this, without this piece of kit. Clever design allows the step to attach to the metal clasp on the car door frame, then up you go. It’s just big enough for two feet, but mainly one foot will do. It was more stable when attached to the two front door frames. Rear door frame worked ok, but is on more of an angle so stability is jeopardised. I still did it though, just needed to be more careful.

I carry kayaks on the roof of my SUV and found securing the straps really awkward because I had to stretch too far to reach over the boats. Since getting this, I can reach the straps with ease and get everything tied down quickly and securely. Because it's really compact, it stays in the car when not in use without taking up useful space, so there's no risk of me forgetting to bring it on a trip with me. It's really solidly made, from thick sturdy metal, and it easily holds my 85kg weight.

Ordered this as we had a roof box and was struggling to reach stuff inside of it. This works absolutely brilliantly. Can reach right into it now with no problems.

I got this step due to having a roof cage and I'm impressed, I'm no lightweight but it definitely can hold me up and I can definitely get 2 feet on the step. I've used it and it dosent damage the car would recommend it

Very sturdy step, really gives very easy access to the roof. Folds flat for simple storage in the boot. Great job

Solide verarbeitet mit zwei Neigungsmodi, ein Muss für alle Dachboxbesitzer bei einem SUV. Ich war anfangs etwas skeptisch wegen schlechter Bewertungen hinsichtlich Dellen nach Benutzung. Richtig verwendet kann das jedoch nicht passieren. Ich halte es für eine sehr sinnvolle Ergänzung zu einer Leiter mit drei Tritten. Man kann mit einem Fuß sehr gut darauf stehen und kann auch den zweiten Fuß hinzunehmen. Niemand sollte erwarten, dass man mit beiden Füßen wie auf einer Leiter steht, dafür ist die Fläche zu klein. Ausreichend jedoch um die fehlende Höhe einer mobilen Leiter auszugleichen und sicher genug um die Absicherung des Gepäcks innerhalb der Box vorzunehmen. Einzig der Preis ist etwas hoch, für eine günstige Fertigung in China. Und ich spiele hier nur auf den Endpreis an. Qualität ist absolut in Ordnung.

Gradino da portiera di ottima qualità. Lo si sente già al tatto e a prima vista. L'ho scoperto per caso, utilissimo per accedere al box da tetto, che altrimenti sì, è comodissimo, ma inaccessibile... Con questo gradino è veramente una svolta! Ha due diverse posizioni, in modo da poter essere adattato a 2 diversi gradi di inclinazione degli attacchi di portiere delle auto. Ovvio: tocca stare attenti a non salire e FORZARE con tutto il peso del corpo, onde evitare danni al perno di chiusura della portiera ed al montante della portiera. È sempre un oggetto "di fortuna" ed è vero che i montanti sono parte strutturale molto resistente (servono a proteggere l'abitacolo in caso di capottamento, quindi è lamiera d'acciaio che come minimo sopporta 1,5-2 tonnellate di stress), ma il perno di chiusura porta no e potrebbe essere strappato via, alla lunga. Ma con un uso consapevole, si riesce a fare veramente di tutto. Inoltre i rulli in gomma pesante, danno una sicurezza di non danneggiare la carrozzeria/vernice (ma sempre: usare con cautela). Si riesce a stare con 2 piedi, non proprio comodamente, ma ci si riesce (io ho un 42). Per dire: sono riuscito a caricare e scaricare sul box le valigie da bagaglio a mano per l'aereo. La mia auto è una Jeep Renegade ed è discretamente alta. Con il gradino, tutto super! Molti lo mettono nel bagagliaio. Io lo metto sotto il sedile, pronto all'uso. In conclusione: ottimo acquisto e spedizione sempre impeccabile.
