Set of 2 Roof Rack Crossbars, Rooftop Car, SUV, or Truck T-Slot Bars Compatible with StreamLine Tower – Bars Only, 50 Inch, JetStream

I just installed the Yakima Jetstream crossbars on my 2018 Subaru Outback. I am using these with the Yakima Skyline and the Yakima Landing Pad 15. These will primarily be used with Yakima bike carriers. I previously used Yakima round bars with a fairing to cut wind noise. I cannot take the fairing through my local car wash and got tired of removing them. After reading reviews I bought the Jetstreams.The initial installation is straightforward as with all Yakima products I have used and appear to be solid and well-made. I practiced removing the bars once installed and found the Skyline towers easy to use just as my old control towers were. Then came the test drive to answer the noise question. I drove around town and on the interstate up to 75 MPH. I was pleasantly surprised there was no more wind noise than with my factory crossbars. I have used Thule square bars and Yakima round bars for years and was never able to use them without a fairing.Perhaps wind noise may vary for different vehicles and I can only speak for the Subaru Outback. I am finally free of the fairing and recommend this quiet and sturdy roof system.

Super sturdy used along with my Yakima towers. These are good widths for my 2023 Kia sportage. Used them for snowboarding trips with my Yakima fat cat Evo 6 snowboard attachments. I may up the functionality of these with a skybox so I can leave it on year round. Very sturdy and no vibrations on the highway, great product! I prefer the design of these over the oem Kia product these makes the car look way more slick.

Installed onto 2018 RAV4 with factory side rails. I like the profile of the bars, allows minor orientation adjustment of kayak holders. I don't notice any change in noise which is great.

I purchased the Yakima Track Tower Cargo Roof Rack Tower, 4 Packs along with the Yakima 60 Inch Aluminum T Slot and the GarveeLife 46" x 36" Universal Roof Rack. They were easy to install and look great. I would buy all three again

Attached them to our Subaru with Yakima brackets. Attached a roof basket and storage pod to them for a long road trip. Love the attention to detail on the cross bars with the rubber ton stip for attachments and the rubber bottom strip to help with sealing the units from rain and keeping them a bit more quiet when driving. Would highly recommend these. Good value for the cost.

Aerodynamic and sturdy! Works well with kayak holders and other mounts. Sturdiness:Very strong and trustworthy on long trips

A bit laborious to set this up with the Timberline Mounts. But once it is all set, it can be removed from the vehicle quite easily, keeping the whole cross bar system intact for later reinstallation. It is relatively quiet on the road, but that is insignificant as the equipment mounts stick up in the airstream anyway. It fit my vehicle perfectly (Subaru Forester with factory rack).

Works well with Yakima brand towers.Good quality.
