Excellent printer for my use
I use this printer for my school work 🙃, & for my business which I will be starting soon.

Cheaply made
I’ve used HP printers for years. So from that perspective, let me say that I’ve found it’s definitely worth not getting the cheapest model if you print a lot. However, you also don’t have to buy top of the line if you aren’t a business. So after looking at a lot of models, I found the one I wanted. Unfortunately, with the supply chain issues it had been months and the one I wanted was not in stock anywhere. This was my second choice. I was prepared to like it, and the print quality is great for what it is. What I’m not crazy about is how rickety it feels. I’ve already had to replace the ink cartridges (they came with starter size which was one reason it was 2nd choice) and the plastic is so thin I was concerned about something snapping. It didn’t, but it’s definitely not as sturdy as the one I purchased a few years ago. If you need a printer for school, this would be a decent option. If you need one for a small business, I would not go with this one since I don’t think it will stand up to frequent paper filling, ink changes, etc without something snapping off.

Enjoying Features
Haven't had an HP printer before. Set up was really easy. Love the features I have thus used so far, like being able to load paper into a feeder for copying, the size of the paper tray, how easy it is to make a copy of both sides of an ID on one page and getting the ink refills automatically! The trial period is really appreciated too! So far all is running smoothly 2 months into using it. Haven't tried all the features yet, like faxing or photos.

For the price, a couple of things could be more "heavy duty"
The printer is nice-it's not super fast, but it's ok. The paper "catcher" is very "CHEAP" and I have to be very careful when filling the paper tray. I feel like they could have put a bit more plastic in it for the cost of this printer.

Don't fall for the free ink with the purchase. The printer is fine.
Would not connect wireless to Main computer. Had to get a wire to connect both. Connected to laptop very easy! Also the free 4 months of ink was a big draw for me to order this printer, but when in fact you have to sign up for a cost to get it and then cancel after 4 months. It was very confusing and not worth my time to be bothered with signing up for some ink. Very disappointed in HP's tactic to get you roped into purchasing a plan. Printer works fine and ink cartridges are around $30 to $40. So more expensive than the other brands. But I couldn't see spending the money on cartridges for a laser printer when this is a home printer.

"Expired" Warrantee
I had difficulty with set-up. (Set-up instructions are brief and don't tell you what to do it something does not work.) Called HP for help. They were incredibly generous with expertise and time and set up was completed. But in checking product serial number they informed me that warrantee was "expired." I am going to keep the product anyway because I need a printer and don't want to have to go through this again. I have not yet had time to use all functions but seems to do a good job. But I am unhappy that I did not get a warrantee.
