Brand Story By LEGO Elves Review: Love this line and castle - We love the Elves line. I love the colors, the attention to construction so things don't just fall apart in play, the neat little surprises like trap doors, and the tiny details. My girls love building structures and then using structures for adventures - and the Elves line is perfect for that. Ragana's castle has served as both the home to a nice wizard elf as well as a evil queen. The trap door + jail has housed daring heroes as well as coveted treasures. We love the "grand entrance" of the front door, which slides the guest through the door. My girls cracked up at the chocolate bar on the couch. They love to "brew potions" in the potion area. And my 4 year old adores the little cat. The instruction booklet is clear, like all lego instructions. My 7 year old is able to build the sets entirely on her own, but she has a very long attention span. My 4 year old needs our assistance but we enjoy building it anyway :) Review: Awesome villain and castle build, 4 YO loves the trap door and other features - Awesome villain and castle build, 4 YO loves the trap door and other features! The castle is much larger than the super cramped Skyra's Mysterious Castle. It features cool mechanisms, like the trap door and dungeon with a wall that can be "kicked down," wobbly bridge, hidden compartment under the bed, and moving castle door. It's got lots of little details, too, including sushi cat food and a cauldron room with ingredients. One of the best Elves builds so far, out of the 15 sets we've built. ## Features - Build Ragana’s 3-story castle with trapdoors, a secret hiding place, the Book of Dragons and magic elements! - Includes Ragana, Naida and Aira mini-doll figures, plus Estari the baby dragon and Jynx the cat - LEGO Elves building toys are compatible with all LEGO construction sets for creative building - Magic Shadow Castle measures over 11" high, 14" wide and 5" deep - 1,014 pieces – For girls and boys between the ages of 8 and 12 years old ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01CU9WNN0 | | Additional Features | Non Toxic | | Age Range Description | Kid,Baby | | Best Sellers Rank | #388,345 in Toys & Games ( See Top 100 in Toys & Games ) #11,549 in Toy Building Sets | | Brand Name | LEGO | | Color | White | | Customer Package Type | Standard Packaging | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 194 Reviews | | Educational Objective | Creative Thinking | | Included Components | LEGO Building Elements | | Item Dimensions | 18.9 x 14.88 x 2.78 inches | | Item Type Name | TOY | | Item Weight | 1.37 kg | | Manufacturer | Lego | | Manufacturer Part Number | 6137021 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | No Warranty | | Manufacturer recommended age | 8 years and up | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Name | elves | | Model Number | 6137021 | | Number of Pieces | 1014 | | Operation Mode | Manual | | Size | One Size | | Subject Character | Cat,Dragon | | Theme | Dragon | | UPC | 673419249416 | ## Images ![LEGO Elves 41180 Ragana's Magic Shadow Castle Building Kit (1014 Piece) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/713ecEUGCKL.jpg) ![LEGO Elves 41180 Ragana's Magic Shadow Castle Building Kit (1014 Piece) - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71OnNQPUcFL.jpg) ![LEGO Elves 41180 Ragana's Magic Shadow Castle Building Kit (1014 Piece) - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81OUWiSahfL.jpg) ![LEGO Elves 41180 Ragana's Magic Shadow Castle Building Kit (1014 Piece) - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71Nnek4GWPL.jpg) ![LEGO Elves 41180 Ragana's Magic Shadow Castle Building Kit (1014 Piece) - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81Ih50okIvL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Good for 4 yr. old girl?** A: Hi Bob! The LEGO® Elves Ragana’s Magic Shadow Castle has a suggested age range of 8-12, so it could be a little difficult for your 4 year old builder to complete. Have you heard of the LEGO Juniors theme? Juniors sets are designed for our little builders who are transitioning from playing with our larger DUPLO bricks to the small System bricks, and most of these sets have a suggested age range of 4-7. There are fewer small pieces to make building easier and more rewarding. Currently there are no Elves sets in our Juniors line, but you may find something just as exciting for her! **Q: How long does it take to build this set?** A: 10-year-old child need a few hours. But really everything depends on imagination - you can build not only this castle ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love this line and castle *by L***K on January 8, 2017* We love the Elves line.
