Could I use the Body Trimmer without the included attachments?

The GK80 can be used on armpits, back, chest, and legs without attachments, but needs the skinguard attachment when it is used for private areas such as the groin and buttocks.

I am concerned about using this product on the delicate skin of the groin and bikini area.
