Will this work on a cordless ryobi weed eater

It should fit if your trimmer accepts the Expand-It accessories. The issue is how well it will cut. I use a different brush attachment with my 40v electric and gas power heads. The gas head does better, but I use the electric more often.

will this work cutting a bunch of miscanthus bushes?

It should work if you take it slow and easy, and let your trimmer cool after a period of trimming. It trimmed 1/2” maple saplings with no problem, and some dense underbrush. NOTE: the blade edge is flat. If a sharpened cutting blade was put on this, it would probably cut anything!

Great attachment for the tough jobs.

Great working tool, however caution is the one warning to observe. Watch out for flying debris such as stones. Wear protective glasses. Good Luck

Only works with gas power heads!

I wanted to use this with a 40V electric power head, and it was not at all clear from the various descriptions online, reviews, and even from the box it came in that it ONLY works with gas power heads. So I returned it. On the box the only way to tell is the small photo that I attached. There was an answered question on the Amazon site that said it was gas only, but somehow I missed that in my research. The photo of a man using it on the Amazon site does not show the power head.
