Dye Laundry Treatment Color Remover Powder, 2 oz, 3-Pack

It worked really well & brightened up my fav summer comforter, it had yellowed with age & was really sorry looking. But now it’s bright like new! Very pleased. 💯

I used a bucket method instead of stovetop and worked perfectly fine with my red shirt that bled on to my whites. My clothes were a pastel pink, and didn’t have to leave it too long in the solution. Looked yellow for a bit after taking it out of the solution, but once I ran my clothes from warm to cold, they returned to white. I saw immediate results from pastel pink to a bright white. Super easy to use. I hand washed with detergent and threw in the laundry just for extra measure.

Worked really well on this shirt I had dyed a few months ago and never liked how it turned out. I used all 3 boxes it came with. I boiled water and let it sit for about 10ish minutes for the first box then rinsed pot and repeat 2 more times with other 2 boxes for about 15 each. Here’s the results from how it started to the final product. Very happy with results!

I had limited success with this product -- a 2.5 star rating would be more accurate, but there are probably a number of factors (unrelated to product quality) that affected the outcome. First, without a care label on the garment I was trying to bleach, I could not identify the fabric type. It seemed to be a natural fiber, but some synthetics can closely resemble things like cotton, linen and ramie. Next, I didn't entirely trust the directions. Because I was afraid I would remove too much color I used only one packet of the powder on my first try. This did not lighten the cloth at all, that I could see (and I used the more effective stovetop method of color removal). I tried a second time, using two packets of powder, with a better result, but the difference in color between the original and the "new" is kind of subtle. An additional note: as stated in/on the directions, having good ventilation is important while undertaking the removal process. I had a window open and a ceiling fan on, but fumes from the pot on the stove still permeated the room.

Did not work! Seeped into fabric unevenly and made the colors even worse. Smelled terrible. I had to run several loads of wash just to clean out the washer drum.

Works nicely for getting the color out of most clothes but only with the boiling pot/stove method, does not work in the laundry/washer!!! And it does not work as good on black clothing.

I had some purple blue dye transfer onto my nice white guest bath towels, ruining them completely. I had spent a lot of money on these towels and only had one guest use them so far so I was upset and trying to find a way to save them. I have tried every other method to turn them white again and nothing else has worked until now! Two packets in the top loader, soaked for 20min with very hot water, then rinsed and ran a quick load to wash everything out and my towels are good as new. I can’t believe it! This is an amazing product. I wish I had taken a before and after photo to show the difference, but I honestly didn’t think it was going to work so I didn’t bother. As others have stated, it does have a strong chemical smell and should be used with care in a well ventilated area. If you have a garment with dye transfer you want to turn back white, this product works to lift and remove the stain completely.

I turned a vintage faded white cotton dress + a white polyester button down blue in the wash AND they went through the dryer. Soaked them both in rit + hot water for about 24 hours. Then I put them thru an extra hot wash cycle with another packet of rit, carbona, and a little oxiclean white revive (plus some clear laundry soap). They both came out STARK white looking brand new. The vintage dress looks better than it did before! Lol Especially after having gone through the dryer, I’m impressed to say the least. Thank you!!!!!!!

Brilliant product - watched a YouTube to help me . Tried other products first nothing got the “pink” out of the white tops i had mistakenly created in the wash. Only 3 small tops used 1// a pack and my nest thermometer helped . Colour literally drained away. Rinsed and washed as per instructions . Got spare packs in case it happens again!!

Works good - I thought I had ruined my dress

Accidentally dyed my partner's white t shirts pink. Tried everything to lift the dye - soaking in vinegar and baking soda, store stain remover, cold washes, but nothing worked. Had just about given up hope when I found this stuff. It's magic in a packet. 5 minutes using the stove top method and his t-shirts were white again! 100% recommend this product.

Just what I needed. Makes whites whiter.
