Becoming fluent in German: 150 Short Stories Paperback – April 1, 2020

These simple, everyday short stories were helpful in learning the flow of the language. The audio files were a great addition to help me see how well I could understand the spoken language.

Great stories with a vocabulary list at the bottom of each story. Only 1 issue. The publishing house bound the book with very minimal margins so you have to practically break the binding to read the story flat, but it is doable. I hope they resolve this with the next issue. The German stories are well done.

I finally opened this book up and I like the style very much. The 150(!) stories are brief and full of useful vocabulary. One learns about Germany too. I am subscribing to Mr. Eich's Youtube channel now too. Danke!

This book was a very good resource for me in picking up new German vocab and made the learning process interesting by teaching through storytelling. I recommend to anyone around the A1-A2 level of German who is looking to progress.

This book helped me improve upon my German immensely! The short stories are great for improving your ability to read German in real life situations. All the stories are relatable and are easy to understand. At the end of each story, there is a list of vocabulary words that you may not have known. There is also questions at the end of each story that relate to what you just read so that you can make sure to understood everything. This book has helped me improve my German in indescribable ways! Would def recommend reading! 10/10!

These 150 short stories are indeed just that. Short stories. The stories are about a paragraph long each. Below them is a vocabulary list. Very short stories. I thought they would at least be at least one or two pages at least.
