Late in life diagnosed neurodivergent adult here, and never had I ever tried noise cancelling headphones. I do use Loop earplugs to block sound sometimes, so I thought why not try noise cancelling headphones? Our house is on a budget so I couldn't spend too much, but I also didn't want to end up wasting money on a cheap pair of headphones that I wouldn't end up liking or using. I finally ended up settling on these. Unfortunately the first pair of headphones I received didn't work right. BUT I easily started the return/replacement process, and I received the replacement before I even returned the first pair. It was nice to be able to make sure the first pair was faulty and that it wasn't the headphones in general that felt... wrong on my ears. Fortunately the second pair was *chefs kiss* SO much better and I have basically been living in them since. (which also speaks to the battery life because I have had these for about two weeks and have only had to charge them once) They have fairly decent passive noise cancelling, active noise cancelling is really neat (you can connect to the soundcore app so you can adjust that, plus there's an equalizer in the app to adjust sound too), and the transparency mode is my absolute favourite. Just quickly touching the right ear for a second switches it to transparency mode so you can tune into your surroundings without stopping your audio or taking the headphones off--and I absolutely love that, as a parent and someone who is just on high alert a lot. The microphone works well for phone calls, I've been told that the sound is clear. I like that you can connect to two devices, at the same time, so I can use my Nintendo Switch and just switch over to my phone if I get a call. Pairing them was fairly straightforward. Oh, and they come with a case so you can travel with them too, and I'm sure I'm forgetting about other things I like about these. Honestly my only "complaint" is that I have a small head and the smallest size setting still concerns me that they might fly off my head if I turn too quickly--because they definitely make threats to fly off my head when I "headbang" even a little to my music. TLDR? I'm no expert but these are absolutely quality for the price point. Just be wary not to shake them off if you have a small head.

I compared these with my daughters Bose earbuds. Could not tell the difference in noise cancellation. These really do have a lot of useful and functional features that add value. Feel solid. They fold nicely and are very comfortable. Also used these on a flight. Excellent! Music is 7.5 or 8/10. Must use the app and graphic equalizers. Bass is solid. Plenty loud. Transparency mode is actually great! Not as seamless as Airpod pros, but the amplification and left to right distinction is nice. Used them at the airport to hear my boarding call while listening to music. $51 renewed. Easily the best $50 I have spent on tech in a looong time. I chose to give these a chance, because I have a great BT speaker from Soundcore that I love and have had for 5 years. Well done Soundcore! Q30 is the sweet spot. Oh! There is a custom sleep sound mode from the app that lets you set a timer and add various sleep sounds at different levels and mix them as you like at any volume level. Wind sound with some ocean waves, wind chimes, and a lil rain was impressive. Execution is above expectation for sure.

Update 03/2023 Shortly after I updated my review, I decided to return the original set of headphones and subsequently received a replacement set. The replacement headphones have not missed a beat and I no longer have a problem when talking on the phone. So, everything that I said in my original feedback applies. I will however keep the rating as a 4-star rating and keep my bottom line assessment. "Worth Every Penny." I am changing my original rating of 5 stars to 4 stars for two reasons. I was on an extended phone call today and after an hour or so of talk time, the voice communications sound became gargled/intelligible. I turned off the headphones and the sound was loud and clear from my phone, so the problem is with the headphones. Also, I have a Bluetooth transmitter and receiver adapter that I use to watch my non-Bluetooth TV with headphones. This set of headphones will not connect to the adapter. The Soundcore software has a list of what these headphones can connect to, and my Bluetooth transmitter and receiver is not on the list. No problem with my Bose. So, I will continue to use my Bose headphones for the Bluetooth transmitter/receiver connection. These headphones have what I was originally looking for in headphones, so, I still say that they are worth every penny. Original Review Below These headphones are worth every penny I spent. The sound quality is comparable to that of my Bose QC 35 headphones. No, I won’t dare put them ahead of Bose, but for the price difference, the Soundcore Anker Life Q30 Headphones are a real winner. There are various sound options, so you are bound to get the sound quality you enjoy based on the genre of music that you prefer. And, the Noise Cancellation is very good. Not as close to my Bose as the sound quality is, but good enough. I can’t hear my bathroom blower running nor my garage door open when I have Noise Cancellation on. Now, there is a caveat, I have to turn the headphones up to at least mid volume level, which isn’t too high. It is about the same level as Bose, but you can hear some residual sound with Soundcraft when my bathroom blower is on. No residual sound with Bose. What is really remarkable is I can still hear my music while riding my 33 HP Zero Turn mower, with the prior caveat, turn volume up. But, I have to turn my Bose up too and have residual sound with both while riding the Zero Turn, which is fine for safety purposes. Additionally, the Soundcore headphones battery is very good, as advertised. I’m using the headphones for the fourth day and I’m still at 80 percent power. Probably 14 cumulative hours of usage over 4 days. When the Noise Cancellation is engaged, the sound appears flat, so I boost the base to eliminate the flat sound. There is an option to do this along with various other adjustment options via the Soundcore App. By the way, you do have to download the Soundcore App to get the Headphones to work. I have an android Smartphone and had no issues at all. The Bluetooth range is just as good as my Bose Headphones. And these comfortable headphones fit over my ears perfectly. This is the best inexpensive set of Headphones I've ever owned. Therefore, I highly recommend them and rate them 5-stars overall.

I got these because I saw that my father had gifted these to my little sister and I actually stole them for a bit before buying them because at first, I didn't want to spend the original $84 I saw them for under Anker's store... that was until I found these renewed for $71... and in pink because I'm a pink fanatic and have to have anything and everything in pink hahaha. The sound quality on these is fantastic. Not only that but they are extremely comfortable and feel very nice and very high quality. The battery on these also lasts for a VERY long time. I can use these for 8 hours in a day and still have charge for when I'm on my way to work for 2 more days! I rarely have to charge them. The noise cancelation is great on these, but doesn't work very well with things like ASMR and podcasts, which knocks off a star on the noise cancelation scale but can probably be easily fixed with the app, which, YOU SHOULD GET IT. It makes your music listening experience so much more personalized and awesome! I don't want to go back to Anker's auto sound setting because of it. Also, there are 3 different noise cancelation settings in the app too, which is cool. I didn't know that until I downloaded the app. I was also pleasantly surprised that I got pretty much brand new, especially when I read that these might come with no packaging. The only thing that was really opened was the headphones box, which only had a small tear in it. All in all, get these!!! You won't be disappointed! They are worth every pretty penny I spent on them!

The EQ is great. Headphones sounded extremely bass heavy out of the box. The EQ allowed me to tune in the sound I wanted. With EQ, the sound is fantastic! I can save multiple custom EQ settings, for different types of music etc. This is a great feature. It seems the great EQ is disabled when the headphones are wired. This is a BIG deal for me. The headphones are a huge disappointment for me without the custom EQ. The headphones feel a bit fragile. It could be because I value my dollar and have read where the Q30 headphones plastic will break. So, I could keep the headphones and use only with Bluetooth and EQ, and be very careful with them. I have to determine if they are worth the price. My Monoprice $29 wireless, ANC headphones have worked flawless for 5 years (with a lot of physical abuse). Maybe I should find a great EQ that works with my music service. After listening a few days, with the Q30 EQ, I love the way these headphones sound! They sound GREAT!!! (But only with the built in EQ and bluetooth.)

these headphones came with no visible flaws or use, and they preform just like they would if they were brand new. came with the case as well so you can take them wherever easily without damage which i'm glad about. this is my first pair of legit headphones and i'm blown away by the difference in sound quality when it comes to music. especially when using the app, the quality is better than i could imagine. the noise cancellation is also amazing!! the sensation is something to get used to since i haven't owned headphones or earbuds with that feature before, but it's really nice. i was worried they'd be a bit too loose on my head but i've been jammin since i got them and haven't had much problem at all! so so worth the price!

Update: The plastic band broke near the earpiece only 4 months in. Poor design and its a very common issue with these. Contacted Anker but they would not replace it. It still works but I had to put duct tape on it. The NC is actually pretty good, sound just average, build = poor. An excellent pair of headphones for the price. I was surprised at how well the noise cancelation works at this price point. I keep it on "Outdoors." The battery life is superb also. I rarely have to charge it. My wife and teens have the expensive Sonys but as a price conscientious dad this is perfect for me.

I bough these reconditioned Anker Life Q30 Hybrid Active Noise Cancelling Headphones to use till the next big Bose 2nd generation Sale. However after using these for 3 weeks and on;y paying $50, I find these headphones great for the price. 1. They are exceptionally comfortable for 4-5 hr stretches 2. Connectivity is the best, especially connecting 2 separate devices 3. Battery life is awesome. When i stream movies and baseball games 4-5 hrs per day. I only charge once a week. 4. Noise cancelling 3 separate settings is great 5. Sound…having used bose for past 5 years, i find these headphones very good for the $50 price. Finally i hope the wear quality last at least a good year. If so, i doubt i will buy $350-$500 headphones again, as long as these are available at a decent price.

I've used these for about 3 years now. I wasn't sure about buying a refurbished item, but I've been pleased with these headphones. They're comfortable in the sound quality is decent to my ear, though I'm not an audiophile. One of the ear pads has started to split after several years, so I wish these ear pads were replaceable but at this price point that's not typical. So overall I've been pleased with the purchase and I even bought a pair for my brother and he enjoys using them as well.

Generally, I am satisfied... BUT my headphones sometimes just switch off. I've been observing this for a few weeks now, and it started right at the beginning. It's not a matter of charging, and it happens when they are just in noise-cancelling. I'm hoping the seller can shed some light on this, if not I'll have to send them back — unfortunately, as I don't like to send things back and produce more garbage.

Je kunt geen buil vallen door de Q30 aan te schaffen. Zeer goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding, komt met een fijn werkende app. Zijn er betere headphones te koop? Op zeker, maar niet voor deze prijs. Ik heb er nog een paar liggen/hangen die echt véél beter zijn, maar die zijn dan ook bijna 10x zo duur als de Soundcore by Anker Life Q30. Kortom: "Alle waar naar zijn geld". De Q30 is echt elke euro cent waard. Gewoon kopen.

I very rarely,if at all buy over head earphones,I’m more inclined to buy wired/wireless in ear buds,after reading reviews about this model(I’m already a fan of anker soundcore products)and although refurbs at a reduced price i decided to purchase and see for myself how these performed,very,very well as it happens,all accessories etc came in the box including a 3.5mm lead for phono connection that performs admirably with good audio quality,you can’t control volume this way on the headset but a default volume is set at a good level,charging to full didn’t take long at all, Bluetooth connection was very quick and once set up in the soundcore app for my own preference i was good to go,very good crisp clean sound with strong bass as i prefer that doesn’t muddy the audio at all,noise cancellation,transparency and normal can be activated by a simple button press on the left earcup,volume can be adjusted via Bluetooth connection on right earcup also,these feel very comfortable on wearing at preferred personal wearing adjustment,these are a very good,quality sounding pair of headphones that I’m more than happy that i purchased,even as refurbs,highly recommended to anyone considering purchasing new headphones and are looking for quality sounding audio at an inexpensive price.
