Great Fan
Work great and circulates warm air with no electric

These are pretty effective
I have been reading some of the reviews and it seems that only one fan isn't enough to make a huge difference. I bought 2, might buy a third. You need multiple of these for them to be truly effective. I keep my thermostat at 68 degrees during the winter and have had it up to 78 using these fans. My wood stove has an electric fan to give these guys a little boost though. Everyone has their own unique situation, but these have worked pretty well for me. The point is, you need to get the heat/air moving from your stove into the the surrounding area. I hope they hold up.

Would purchase again…
A week in review - very quiet, sturdy, and efficient. We heat our home purely with a wood stove, heat would sit in the living area or go up to our bedroom. Now with the fan it feels more even distributed throughout the main floor, and our bedroom hasn’t been as hot.

Broke after 3 weeks; refunded
Original: I ordered two of these fans about a month ago and loved them at first. They are super quiet and effective at moving air. However, one stopped working two weeks after we bought it. For $54, I would expect that it would last longer than that (for comparison, our older stove fans lasted 3 years on a wood stove that runs 7 months out of the year). Despite how quiet and efficient they were when working, I won't order another one from this same brand. Update: The company read my review, reached out and offered to refund for the broken fan. I have changed my rating

Comes in handy
This GalaFire wood stove fan puts out a little breeze. My husband uses it to tell him when to plug in the built in wood stove fan.

Died in less than a month. Choose another fan.
I bought two. One works, one is dead after two weeks. This is no better than the cheap fans. I watch my heat, and make sure these are placed properly, yet here we are with a 50% failure rate.

NR

I've been searching for already 2 seasons for a good fan to enhance the yield I get from my woodstove. My particular situation is that my stove is positioned in an old fireplace chamber, so not only that any wood-burning stove is not so efficient in heating the room (comparing to Fireplace Insert due to the integrated fan) but also a significant part of my stove heat remains in the chamber and thus escaping the chimney. There are 2 most important thermal transfer methods, namely convection (diffusion of hot air flow above stove) and radiation (electromagnetic energy), while convection is by far the most dominant in heating the room, and since a stove is not highly efficient from convection perspective especially when heat is stuck inside the chamber as in my case, I had to find a way to extract the hot air above it into the room. I've tried a 2-blade from "My Stove Fan", a 4-blade from "L-Best stove accessary" and a 4-blade from Gif4yourhome / VIOLA-tech. I've even tested the fans side by side, and also individually and measured the temperature increase in the room thanks to each one of the fans, and tried to be objective with respect to similar outside temperatures and weather conditions, and turning the heating system off during the testing, and operating in similar constant stove temperature. I have to say that when I received the Viola fan it looked much smaller (and much lighter) than the other fans, which can assert some scepticism regarding its capabilities. Though it is small it seems to give more air flow CFM than the others, and also a 4 blade blows more than a 2 blade (in theory and in practice as well!). The Viola fan certainly lives up to its promises in my case. Fan starts at the lowest chimney temperatures from the 3 fans (at ~50°c and also according to specifications on product page) and I consistently get a higher temperature increase in the room using the Viola fan comparing to the other two. The Viola fan manages to raise the temperature in my 270m³ livingroom by about 0.6 degrees in first hour, higher by roughly 20% when compared to the other 4 blade fan (and funny enough they seem to be priced accordingly too:-). I enclosed a picture and a video in action. Note that I screwed out my metal strip protection in the bottom of my fan as I think it is not needed in my case since I never reach critical temperatures since my stove operates between 150 to 200°c.
