However the whole purpose of a vinyl wrap is that it is an alternative to paint and if sourced correctly a more durable one at that. Sorry I cannot be more specific but there really are a mirad of different answers depending on what you want to do and the finish you want to end up with. Personally I would stick with using the vinyl as it's meant to be used ie an alternative to a paint finish. If colour / shade is an issue there are companies out there that will effectively colour match the vinyl therefore negating the need to paint it it in the first place.
