Ben Nye Classic Translucent Face Powder 3 Oz Neutral Set Face Powders

I actually came across this after seeing all the rave reviews about the Ben Nye Luxury Powders...banana in particular. I ended up buying several of those, which by the way, if you have a lighter skin tone, go for the cameo. Sure, Kim K and everyone else wears the Banana and it's all the rage. but trust me, it's not for you. Anyway, I found this and read up on it as much as I could. I not only have oily skin, but I also sweat a lot (no delicate way to put that)! So the struggle is real when it comes to keeping my makeup in place and looking on point. This translucent setting powder is made for the stage i.e. hot lights. I thought I'd give it a shot. It is my new favorite beauty product. I use it to set my foundation/concealer everyday. A tiny bit goes a long way. I use a Kabuki brush to pick up a little bit of the powder and just pat it on my face. I'm sure it would work just as well with a powder brush, this way just makes me feel like I have more control. I will sometimes go over it with a powder brush just to make sure there's no excess sitting on top.This stuff has made all the difference in the world. I can actually go all the way through a 10 hour day without reapplying or even blotting most of the time. It is a miracle! And it is cheap! You get a ton of powder with this and like I said, you just need a little. If you suffer from the oil slick face or tend to sweat in air conditioning, you've got to give it a try!

This stuff is a miracle. I have oily skin and even through a sweaty summer day at work, by the end of my shift my skin looks great. When first applied it gives a matte finish but throughout wear, it gets to a natural dewy look. But if needed, touch ups keep you matte. I have always heard that the pros know Ben Nye is great and I have to agree!

I’ve been using this for years now. Many brands market as “no color” powders but then when you put them on, there’s a cast of color left behind. Not with Ben Nye! This is a TRUE colorless powder and it won’t change the color of whatever is underneath. I’m an MUA and I typically use translucent powders to set the entire face, but I like to use colorless powders specifically for under the eyes, so that it doesn’t tone down the brightness of areas highlighted with concealer. Great to set & stays matte for a full shift, unlike other brands that allow oils to start peaking through after just a couple hours. Love the brand. Great products. Will continue to use on myself and clients.

Best powder for makeup artists!! This powder sets makeup no added color, easily one of my favorite powders ever

I have very oily skin so thought I would give this a try after reading all the reviews. I think I sometimes have unrealistic expectations with products after I read all the rave reviews and expect a miracle product! I do like it but I don't really feel like its any better than anything else I have used even compared to drug store brands such as Maybelline Shine Free powder. I still have to re-apply mid day.It does not leave your skin looking white and you do get a very matte finish. You do get a lot for the your money when you order the larder size bottle. I like that its in a bottle with a screw top lid so I will purchase again.

Started using this stuff in theatre back in the day. I had transitioned to higher priced items for a while and went back to this stuff because it’s literally just as good for a lower cost. Even for sensitive skin. Save your money and buy this!

I have used translucent powder by Laura Mercier, Kat von d, etc this one is the best one I've used so far. I'm a cosmetologist and own a salon so I've used everything on myself and brides/wedding parties for almost 15 years. I am very fair skinned but this doesn't show a white cast no matter ur natural skin color. One of the huge things I've noticed after a few weeks of using is I don't have large pores on my t zone anymore. I've used several high end face washes and creams and treatments to minimize my pores without much luck, never thought it could have been my face powder clogging and enlarging the pores on my t zone area. This is very fine powder and doesn't have a makeup like smell or odor.

I am a regular make-up user. I use this powder every single day. I always heard about Ben Nye and finally decided to give it a shot. I ordered the translucent because I feel like you can never go wrong with translucent! I’m very pale and always have to switch out my powders through the seasons because I’m different shades. I ordered this product in June/ July of 2017 and I’m still using the same bottle of this powder.This powder lasts forever. I think it’s great because I would go through so many different powders which can get costly. This powder keeps me matte all day long. And what’s great is that A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY!I place some on my T-zone, nose, chin, and bake under my eyes, above my contour, and under my contour. It leaves a flawless finish without looking cakey. I hate wiping away powder for it to look like it’s just sitting on top of your skin.
