Great value! A more realistic review...
Expectations make the difference. You see, this is a relatively inexpensive replica. If you're in the market for a $1500 replica, this is not it. For my usage and needs, this fit the bill perfectly. I've had this for a few weeks now and appear to use it for about 3-4 hours a week considering a typical work week. To help you understand the full picture of my usage and wear, I'm 6 feet tall weighing 165 lbs.I needed this chaise in white to complete my white Le Corbusier (replica) furniture set. I saw that there were two sellers for this chaise: one shipped directly from Amazon and the other from Amazon Marketplace (Lexington Modern) whose price was lower. I called Lexington Modern on a Friday afternoon (got the number from the Amazon storefront page) and received a very courteous response immediately. I spoke to them frankly about the price difference on Amazon, and they mentioned that both the Amazon inventory and theirs was the same, since their price list had two prices, matching the two listed on Amazon (with matching inventory numbers). They asked me to place the order for the cheaper one. I purchased it right away via Amazon marketplace for Lexington Modern.Shipping was via FedEx and shrink wrapped to keep moisture away. It arrived within 5 business days in a box the length and width of the chair. It was satisfactorily packaged. However, one of the plastic feet cracked in shipment (chaise functionality not affected), but again, an email to Lexington Modern fixed the issue within hours (thanks Justin!).Regarding the quality of the chair, I'm impressed. It's definitely designed for slim body frames. Unlike other reviewers of this type of chaise mentioned, the build quality on my piece was fine - no wobbling, no excess metal and super easy to assemble. The chair itself isn't attached to the base frame - it rests on the chrome curved bars on either side, so it's adjustable simply by lifting and sliding. My feet stick out, but who cares! This chaise is ridiculously comfortable and everyone's first guess at the cost is that of a far more expensive replica. Another reviewer had mentioned the neck roll/rest to be too firm, but that's the way I like it. I can see this chair lasting a few years with my usage. I can imagine it sagging a tad bit, but I would find it normal for my weight. The leather is supple and the padding is about an inch thick. Again, this works perfectly for me. The neck rest is adjustable, and it works brilliantly for reading, watching TV or taking a power nap. Every time I'm on it, my first response is "ah, yessss".I'll be honest: even if this breaks in a few years (I really doubt that), I'll go back to Lexington Modern and buy another one. This is a solid piece of furniture, and great value for a design like this. I'm a very choosy buyer, and I recommend the product and the seller.

good value
This is a nice corbusier replica that seems to be nicely constructed. Mine came as white leather and not pony. It is perfect for thin to medium body size of average height people, no taller than 5'11". I would give it a 5 star if the pad would have been a little thiner allowing the design to become more visible. As far as its comfort, it is pretty comfortable. I do recommend this product for $450.

Beware of cheap imitations
Beware of cheap imitations i.e. make sure you have sat in any model of this type of chair before purchasing. I made a mistake and purchased one online (not at Amazon). It turned out to be a cheaply made reproduction. This is what was wrong with mine. The straps supporting the padding are not very strong. Therefore the seating sinks a lot and does not give firm support. Overtime this will give in even more as the steel clips loose strength. The steel frame does not balance evenly on the base. So the frame has to lie crooked for all 4 corners to touch the base. One of the bars is too long, so I had to bring it to a machine shop and cut 2/8ths of an inch off it.It's going to Goodwill. I figure the tax deduction is more than the cost of paying shipping both ways.
