We installed this heater last November and it no longer turns on. It’s October or the following year. Unit turns on with the side switch and remote turns heater light to green but heating element doesn’t not heat up. The only way to turn the heating element on is through the remote which is a silly feature. When the heater worked it produced some nice localized heat on our patio. Disappointed that it didn’t even last 12 months.

So glad I got this item. The extra heat outside really made a difference. Happy with the heavy construction too.

DO NOT BUY! Heater quit after only a few months use and company quit answering repeated contacts. Received heater Feb. 2022, used a few times and it worked fine. Put it away for the summer. Pulled it out to enjoy our patio area here in AZ, worked fine until one day, we turned it on and it sparked and quit. Contacted company since it has a 1 year warranty, got a response to send proof of purchase, receipt, picture of model/serial# label on unit, etc. Was told a new heater would be sent in 7-14 days. Well, it's been a month and no heater and also no more response from company when I email. There are many other heaters on the market, don't buy this one!
