Review: Good watch - Good watch with ok price
Review: Excellent watch for the money - Disclaimer: statements below are my opinions only so other people may disagree. I bought this watch after reading many reviews of the Kamasu; this is the black dial version, model# RA-AA0001B19A. Regarding price: this can (at this date) be purchased at around US$ 200 from online retailers like Ashford or Jomashop, however after factoring in the weak Canadian dollar, the import tax and shipping cost I found the difference was minor - around/under CAD 15 - at the time this watch was at a low price on desertcart. So given the no-nonsense desertcart return policy and their reputation I preferred buying it here just in case something was wrong with it. At this point (more than two months later) I could not be happier with it, I find that all the positive reviews are right on the money. It could hardly be better at this price point: 200m water resistance (although not ISO certified for diving but for sure that would have increased the price), sapphire crystal glass, a more than decent F6922 movement, almost spot-on aligned bezel, screw-down crown etc. Regarding precision, with my wear pattern (8-12h/day, a lot of desk-sitting combined with light activity in- and around the house) I goes fast by less than a minute in 2 weeks which is more than excellent for a non-COSC movement. It looks I was lucky to receive a 'golden sample'. I also tested it for 'light' water resistance (submerged in water cca 30cm for about 1h) and it looks fine. As for the crown: (a) I do not find it hard to grip and turn as other reported and (b) also no problems with screwing/unscrewing it. Regarding the latter, I think that people who report issues like cross-threading etc. may have either received bad units but it is also possible that they did not apply enough pressure when screwing it back. One has to press down firmly (but not excessively so) when screwing it down until the threads 'catch'. For me this happens without issues from the first try so far. The metal strap is not exceptional but neither is it a disaster; personally I prefer it on a silicon, rubber or whatever other water-resistant material. I also find that this watch wears smaller than its stated dimensions; it is also extremely comfortable, I think Orient did a great job designing this case. Overall I find this a great watch for the amount paid.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great watch but!!

Great all round watch for the price and looks good on the wrist, only downside for me me its running fast gains about 5 mins a week seems some others a experienced the same fault. So that's 52 times a year at least you have to alter the time thinking how will this affect the crown mechanism maybe ware and tear and possibly the water resistance of the watch. Hence my return of the watch which is a shame.
