Classy lil thing!
I’ve never used one of these before, but I watched the video and read reviews. It’s simple, sleek, and easy to use. Bought Zippo brand fluid, filled it, and it worked. Which is all I need it to do.As for mechanics, I don’t have the dexterity to open, flip, and swipe the way others do it ever-so-smoothly, but I’m sure with practice, I will eventually. As for size, I do wish it fit in my cigarette case, but it is slightly bigger than a cigarette. I didn't knock a star off because it does give exact dimensions to refer to, in comparison to a cigarette, so it should’ve been expected on my end. The only way to fit it and shut my cigarette case, is if I don’t fill all slots completely; this allows enough room for the lighter and the case will close completely. Mine holds 10, but in order to carry this lighter in my case, I can only fit 6. Not a big deal for me personally, it just limits how much I smoke in a social setting when I have it with me.Overall, I like that I don’t have to carry a bulky box and separate disposable lighter now. Saves pocket space and makes the act look a little fancier, lol.

Nice addition to one's collection.
The media could not be loaded. Very nice, portable little spark.* Great minimalist design* Holds a good amount of fuel* Convenient in summer time, when i tend to dress down (no heavy jackets/coats with many pockets).* The ladies tend to use the "have you got a light?" excuse to strike conversation with me and this will expand that conversation... wink.* No instructions are provided, but it's self explanatory for those who've used lighters before. For a newbie, I recommend watching a video.Observations:* I read a review in which the user complained the hindges holding the two halves broke off.* I don't deny these hindges may be fragile, and that's why I recommend using ONE hand to split it open (see uploaded pic with lighter in hand).* Pulling it apart with both hands doesn't truly allow control of the force used. I did it like that the first time, and felt I pulled too hard.* I also noticed the wick burns slowly, meaning it doesn't burn out as quickly as the wicks on my other lighters.* I contacted the seller about purchasing the exact wick used, and though they replied very quickly, were unable to provide me with such information and recommended any replacement wick.* The ignition wheel is smaller than the regular zippo/lift-arm style lighters, so it may take a little while to get used to this one. Not a deal breaker.* The larger half is where the fuel is deposited, the smaller half is where the flint is located.* Said smaller half is the one that folds to ONE side only. Be careful as to NOT force it to the other side as it may break the hindges.* I've played with it and it seems it'll require quite a bit of force to actually break it when folded to the other side.* Finally, if you own a case like mine, the best way to ensure it closes with the lighter inside, place it above the clasp (see uploaded pic with lighter in middle of cigs.).* Just be careful when opening it as it may hit the floor, causing damage.Improvement:* Refer to upload video:* I shaved off part of the top off (smaller half), creating a button-like design* Said button allows for better handling, especially single-handed.This self-made improvement is the only reason I knocked one star off.Advise: While I used a drill and a special bit, a metal filer could be used, too. There are subtle damages around the shorten endge (see pics), but haven't ruined the lighter. Finally, if you choose to do this improvement, make sure to smooth the filed/shaved-off top, and don't leave sharp edge that can cut badly.

Perfect little lighter
surprised how well its built for the money . Works smoothly and lights every time . Fits in pack of cigarettes , has a heavy quality type of feel , and a very good flame . Small enough to put anywhere , uses std flints n wicks n fuel . Orings seem to seal well , hasnt leaked or burned me yet . I am going to start opening with care , and by pushing down on top rather than pulling it apart as i really like it and want it to last

Leaks
Well as far as I can tell it is as advertised.Filled it up and used it, but the entire top portion of the tube was on fire. Almost burt my hand. It is fine if you keep it upright but if you place it in your pocket upside down then it leaks. If you don't let it evaporate before turning it on then you could actually get injured. It is not marked as to which side is up.

My new favorite lighter
Im a big fan of Zippos. This one works just as well as one of those. I also love vintage things. This light checks all the boxes. The wick and flint are able to be replaced easily and with Zippo parts. The flame is of good size and lasts a long while, like a Zippo. No issues relegating it one time after another in rapid succession and also with long periods of time between lights. Same results. I've already recommended this item to several friends. I will be buying another one of these soon.
