Warning --- Shooter and spectators must always wear proper eye and hearing protection. --- Keep the speed of the bullet below 3000 fps at the point of impact. --- Do not shoot steel targets from closer than 10 yards. --- Do not use steel core bullets. --- Do not use a target that has been deformed or damaged.

Review: Lots of fun - Great quality and a lot of fun. Hold up great to 9 and 45. Just be mindful when you're building it about how tall it is. I used a full 6 foot 2x4 and it's a little to tall for my back drop
Review: Very Good Quality and Fit - This is a very sturdy set. I bought four pairs so I could have eight paddles total. I built a wooden stand for them, and luckily had the forethought to add some steel to the lower diagonal braces where the bottom paddle is close; otherwise those wood braces would have been gone. One word of advice is to either not use treated lumber if it's still wet at all, or if you do then sand down one side and all corners. The treated lumber swells while still wet/damp and doesn't ever completely return to the same size as it's untreated counterparts. I only did the sanding after spending half an hour hammering the first brace all the way down from top to bottom. After sufficient sanding they all went on smoothly. The tree works great for anything 9mm or over. Won't work for 22 longs or anything similar. The paddles and guards do stand up to .40, .357 Sig, Colt 45, .357 Magnum, etc. but I would not use it for any substantial rifles.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do these self reset?**
A: They swing from one side to the other so no they don’t reset but yes they do. Just look up a YouTube video to see how it works.

**Q: Could you put cut pieces of 2" angle in-between the targets and keep it in place by the targets angel piece wedging those protective angles?**
A: If I understand the question,I think u would need to bolt the angle iron to the 2x4 or it would likely pop off.  I mounted a small steel silhouette between the 2 paddles which gives me a 3rd target and protects the 2x4.

**Q: Will these swing reliably with .22LR rounds?**
A: No, not at all, they are heavy duty for larger calibers.  They don't even swing that well from my .380.  They work well with a 9mm.

**Q: how  many can be put on a pole safely? I would like to build a tree with 6, would that be too heavy with the recommended base?**
A: 6 is fine, but i suggest reinforcing the base. I got their cheap metal H frame style base, and it would never hold up my 4 targets on a single post (I doubt it would even hold 2). I built a wood H frame with 4x4's and bolted their metal base to my wood frame, works great and held up for 2 years and thousands of rounds without falling over even once.

Hope you have a power sander because you won't even be able to hammer these on most 2x4's you'll find these days. I had to power sand mine and still had to hammer them on. Good news is they work well and are very sturdy. I bought two pair and put all 4 on one 2x4. Its really really heavy so it puts a lot of stress on the base, so buy a sturdy base. The one suggested with this item is not going to last me long, it uses two small bolts that will eventually shear off.
