works great!
this stuff is great! It takes all of the guests work out of mixing up paint for fabric so in my opinion is totally worth the money. I painted the jacket I'm showing here at least six years ago now and I've washed it tons of times. Still holding up great! (a little bit of cracking on the moon part of the design because I painted and repainted that spot a bunch of times so the paint's thicker than it should be) I generally mix half-and-half with cheap acrylic paint for fine line work. I add more if I want a batter paint or get a "watercolor look."

The best fabric additive so far
Love painting denim and this was an excellent find. I mix with Liquitex acrylic paints for flexibility and vibrancy. Doesn't take any longer to dry than using acrylics alone. I usually use a hairdryer to set it with heat during the painting process and run over the design with an iron on low heat once finished. A little goes a long way so I anticipate this size to last me through quite a few projects

Good for Jean painting
My kods used this for "senior jeans" with their acylic paint. It worked just fine. They mixed in some product with the paint and used like that. It worked out perfect fine and they havent had an issue with cracking or anything. Its a milky thin white color but it doesn't affect the paint color.

GAC-900 take your acrylic art from the canvas to fashion and beyond
If you have acrylic paint and you want to paint on fabric, get this. GAC sounds confusing. It’s not. Golden Artist Colors and then a number. 900 is the stuff you want for fabric. No need for any additional fabric paints or markers. You already own acrylics. This helps you make the most out of what you already own, adapt it for more surfaces, and create wearable artwork that can be washed and worn comfortably. Honestly if you are an acrylic artist look more into the whole gac lineup. You’ll be so surprised at what your paints that you already own can do with just a little medium. You’ll get so much value out of your paints and ability to customize the consistency, thickness, blends, etc.

Best for thick fabric
Rly good for painting on clothes especially denim! But i tried painting it with lighter fabrics and it didnt work out because its too watery. But thats okay for me. Just double check if the fabric ur painting on will work out

As ordered
Went to Blue Jean painting class and they added just a few drops to regular cheap Walmart acrylic paint to turn it into fabric paint

Awesome Alternative to Fabric Paint
This is so great. I got the suggestion from an artist I know because I have about 20 large bottles of Shuttle Art acrylic paint. I didn’t want to buy fabric paint so when I tried this out… OMG. It’s a game changer! Mixes great and adheres to the fabric wonderfully! I’ve washed the test pouch I made for myself a few times already and it holds up! Definitely recommend for artists looking to save some money on fabric paint, especially block printers like myself.

Fabric painting medium that really works
Excellent product which enables you to make fabric paint out of basically any acrylic paint! Doesn't seem to affect the color (I have used Schmicke Akademie acrylics). Has a some what an odor but if you're not working in a teeny tiny room with no ventilation the odor should not be a problem.
