To honest it is a bit tight for me but I am somewhat in denial expecting that 38 will still fit me well, not being as young as I once was, and frankly 40 would have been better. It's OK so long as I don't have to do the buttons up and go around with a devil-may-care insouciance.The shoulders do stick up a bit at the join to the arms - we're not talking 80's Dynasty power-dressing type shoulders, but it's noticeable. This is something which tends to happen with me quite a lot anyway with jackets - perhaps I'm an odd shape - but here it's a little more prominent than usual. Maybe it's just my odd shape again and the tailoring just doesn't fit me personally.The colour is perhaps a shade or two lighter than what I would usually call 'navy' - I would normally choose something darker than this.It feels comfortable and lightweight, seems like decent fabric and well-made. Overall a good smart casual jacket, but be aware about the shoulders and the colour shade. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Lovely finished. The stitching and seams are pretty much unnoticeable - which is a good thing - and they survived a little tug to test the strengthThe two inside pockets are well placed. One deep one on the left and a smaller, higher located, one on the right, that has a button to close for cards etc not to fall out.The sizing seems about right, but the shoulders are very prominent and sit awkwardly high in our opinion. It is very well made, beautifully lined and finished up to good quality tailoring standards (even the pockets are stitched closed to hold the shape before purchase). The design is classic, with two inside and three outside pockets, three buttons on each sleeve and two button front closure. The material feels soft and comfortable to the touch and it has a slight stretch to it, and it is one of those fabrics that are perfect for travel because id doesn't crease up. Hang it up and the creases fall out and you're good to go.
