A Toolbox essential.
Excellent piece of kit. Easy to use, clear pictures and video. Recommend this for a great variety of jobs, from drain inspections to engine problems - it can see far more than you can!

A superb product that has many uses
This is a superb piece of kit to have in your workshop to view those places you cannot get to. I tried this out to have a look at the state of my gutters and it worked very well. I stuck the tubing to a long stick with masking tape and held it out of windows. I was able to see what was in the gutters easily and the battery lasted well. The focus is brilliant as not only can you see close items but also those quite a way distant. I assumed it would only focus at a short distance but was surprised. I used this today to have a look inside a very small area of ceiling that needed re-plastering as the plaster had cracked while working on an inspection panel just below. After removing the cracked pieces of ceiling I was able to look inside the ceiling to see how best to repair it and it was great to be able to see everything so clearly. I have only used the basic function so far as that has shown all I needed but I know it has other functions which I may get around to using. It is great that it comes with a 32 Gb Micro SD card to record video and pictures. You need to have a USB charging plug to charge it. They are cheap to buy if you have not got one to use. The product is easy to use and the cable length is adequate for most jobs. It can connect to your computer to view the videos and photos or you can remove the Micro SD card. I ordered a small cloth bag to keep the product in and it fitted in there well, with a zipped pocket to store the charging lead, instructions etc. This is one of the best products I have ever purchased - very usable and solves DIY problems by being able to see things you could not previously view.

You light up my life.
Only tried mine for about 10 minutes so my opinion of it for the time I used it is, the picture is good, with the cable and light it's little heavy. It's feels well made. The cable and light is flexible. For the price it was ok.

Good quality, easy to use and affordable Depstech endoscope.
I am a machinery inspection engineer by trade and have been using the Depstech app based endoscope for over 2 years without any issues. I just wanted an all in one device that didnโt tie my phone up. As I have been very happy with Depstech products in the past I decided to try their endoscope with a built in lcd screen. Picture quality is much better than I expected, and it comes with a 32GB micro SD card installed for storing videos or images. The dual lens system is an added bonus allowing better viewing versatility. The ability to flip the image by 180 degrees is very handy if the image is upside down on the screen. Included items include a charging cable as well as hook and magnet attachments for retrieving dropped items in hard to reach places. Also included is a 45 degree mirror attachment. The 16.5 foot waterproof cable is flexible yet still rigid enough to manoeuvre it where you want it. As with my previous Depstech purchases, I am sure the DS300 Industrial Endoscope will be prove to be a sound investment.

Amazing!
This is the dual lens version with the long reach probe. I did my research and took my time. There are undoubtedly better quality versions out there but at a very different price. For my purposes this is just perfect. Thus far Iโm hugely impressed. What a piece of technology! Intuitive controls, neat smart and easy to use. Setting aside all the โtech specโ you turn it on, position it and get quite superb pictures with crisp, sharp, well lit, clarity. Even the packaging shouts quality. Worth getting a proper carry case and Iโm surprised they failed to provide some type of protective cap/cover for the lens but not a problem. The battery life seems good and not the slightest criticism beyond that. I think youโd struggle to do better for the money. I recommend.

For the DIY'er who almost has everything.....
So thinking of having the walls of our house insulated. Contractor came out and drilled a test hole shone his torch-light into it and advised the walls had been insulated in the past and all the old stuff would have to be extracted. The anticipated quoted price went up by a factor of 4. HOLD ON - I'm going to check that with something a bit more revealing than a phone torch.... Got this baby and off I went drilling even more test holes IT works pretty well - picture quality is good - cable has just right balance between flexibility and rigidity but it's a little awkward to get into the right position ALSO remember which way you're holding the screen or you'll get confused between UP and Down Have found other uses since and generally pleased with the purchase - if you're lucky enough to have most tools gadgets already and a few quid to spare to further indulge your obsession in same - get one. And yes - the effin contractor was telling the truth ... there is old insulation in there - need to have a rethink about wall insulation....

Fantastic tool! A Money Saver!
I was about to spend $300 to rent a pro camera for only four hours. I needed it for a lot longer (days), so thought Iโd give this a try. Great image, but I was using it in heat ducts so itโs difficult to see properly unless the camera is centered in the vent. Invented my own support and it works great. Just an old led light bulb drilled through the middle and secured with electrical tape. Perfect! But tape it securely, you donโt want to leave the bulb in your vent. Depstech should make and sell an accessory like this. Also, I beat this thing up and it took the abuse. Very durable. I only regret that I didnโt buy the longer cable. Could still use it.

Solid unit, good camera, easy to use
I got this to do a wall fish for a fiber optic cable inside a wall. It was my first time doing this DIY job. This tool makes it a lot easier since you can see inside the wall to look for any obstructions, plumbing lines, electrical cables, etc. to prevent creating more work or problems for yourself. Well worth the modest price. Was able to complete my job faster and more confidently using it. It is easy to use. Just turn it on and you can use it right away, and the manual explains the various functions well enough. Cable is flexible while still being pretty stiff and works great. Camera image is great is doesn't lag. I can see myself using it for all sorts of jobs in the future around the house and for car repairs.

Nice inexpensive borescope with front and side cameras.
Nice, inexpensive borescope arrived in a timely manner. At first, I tried to use it without reading the manual and could not get the side camera to work. I then read the manual and figured out how to get the side camera to work. I took still pictures and a video of the engagement of the starter on the ring gear on a Massey Ferguson 265 diesel tractor. It showed me that I needed spacers to get the correct engagement for the starters that I had purchased that claimed they fit the tractor. Not sure where the starter that was in the tractor came from as it did not require a spacer. Apparently, the original starter did require one. I would have damaged the starter had I tried to use it without the spacer. However, it is not easy to position and hold the camera still while taking videos. An extra set of hands would help. The diameter of the borescope allows it to fit into holes as small as a standard spark plug. There is a short rigid section at the tip of the borescope that limits its flexibility. They make a smaller diameter borescope that is more flexible, but it lacks a side camera-which created the short rigid section in the borescope that I bought. The scope is fairly long so it can be used in a variety of chores.
