Dead battery GOOD COMPANY
It didn't work after I installed it correctly. Spent 30 minutes trying to reprogram it with no avail. Finally, I checked the battery. The 12 volt battery only had 6.2 volts. Fortunately I had a replacement battery or it would have meant a trip to the store. It works fine now. They need better quality control. AFTER WRITING THIS REVIEW THE COMPANY REFUNDED $7 TO COMPENSATE FOR MY INCONVENIENCE. GREAT COMPANY, I WILL GO OUT OF MY WAY TO DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.

Easy install but
Easy install, but doesn’t consistently turn off. It always turns on the first try, but many times takes 3 or more pushes to turn off

It does require electrical work inside the ceiling light box
This took significantly more installation than I expected, but the result is great. I disconnected the original wall switch wiring at both ends. A wireless switch was then installed on the original wall switch box (easy) and I have three additional wireless switches, also programmed to operate this same ceiling light. The ceiling light box was small and considerable effort was required to re-arrange the existing wiring within the box so the new receiver module could fit in there and still allow the LED and programming button to be accessible. This button needs to be pressed to cause the LED to flash and then the wireless switch needs to be activated to program the receiver for that new wireless switch. This needs to be repeated again for each new wireless switch to become active. When all wireless switches can turn the light on and off, then the light fixture can be mounted, covering access to this programming button and LED on the receiver. The manual could be improved here. The installation of the receiver for these switches DOES REQUIRE wiring within the electrical box in the ceiling and the original light switch box. Anyone not experienced in doing this electrical work should seek professional help for this installation. I'm a retired Electrical Engineer and licensed electrician, so I was comfortable doing it. Also, the colors of the receiver wiring are not per the USA Electrical Code, so read the manual Red and Blue are the power inputs to this receiver. Black and white go to the light fixture. This is backwards from the National Electric Code, but follow the Surialec Manual and DO NOT hook it up backwards. This light is the ceiling light of my photo/video studio and I frequently need to turn this light off when it will affect the photography lighting, then back on when no longer taking photos or videos. A wireless switch is now located in the original wall switch position, plus one at each camera. Nobody needs to find the wall switch in the dark after the photo shoot any more.

Easy peasy install and now I have a light in my hallway! I really didn’t want to have to fish a wire down or patch drywall. This washer so easy and works great! Very happy with my purchase

Not a Good Product!
I had been looking for a remote light switch for my bedroom where the light switch in a weird spot in the middle of the wall across from the door. I knew it would be a tight fit in the junction box and this one was the smallest I could find so purchased it. What a mistake! The package and box it came in were fine, but upon opening the box, I immediately knew this was not a new product. The coating on the wires to the receiver module had coating missing and the wires were frayed and twisted. Also, one of the wires was bent in a really awkward way that didn't give me much confidence this would even work. Regardless, I installed it and then went to use the remote switch to give it a test. The battery that was supposed to be included was not(in fact) included. I had to run to the store to get a battery to use the product I paid for that was supposed to have a battery included. I got the battery in the remote and it does work, but there's a button on the receiver module that sticks out and when long-pressed it resets the receiver and remote switch. Why wouldn't it be like a standard recessed reset button? I don't know, but this little button when shoving the module in with all the wire nuts and other wire, apparently keeps getting pressed and I'm guessing that's causing the remote switch to work, intermittently. Or it's just a piece of crap and thats' how it works. Either way, I'm very dissatisfied. I have had to hit the on side of the toggle multiple times to get it to turn the light on and same with turning it off. Sometimes, it's right away but then other times, it takes 4 or 5 taps of it to get it to work. Just be aware when ordering this product, it may not work correctly and it may not include what it says it will include. Now, I will go spend more money to buy something else that hopefully works much better.

Good retrofit
I have an older house that had pull chain incandescent type ceiling fixtures. Changing to less bulky LED , I needed remote switching. All of the local hardware big box stores do not carry retrofit remote switches. The device is small but the j-boxes did not accommodate nor would the ceiling escutcheon accommodate the device. I installed 6 of these devices. As seen in the video the switch does not respond 100% of the time. This one was one of the midrange responders. 2 switches, I have to repeatedly tap to turn off. 3 of the switches react immediately. Either way I am more satisfied with the device than the pull chain. The switch itself is easy to install and can be mounted anywhere. It slides out of the holder also to hide the attachment screws.
