A great little Banjolele, well made and beautifully finished with no rough edges. Easier to play than my smaller concert Banjolele due to my fat fingers. This little instrument has a lovely tone. Highly recommended to any budding beginners. Ten out of ten.

The only criticism is that whilst trying to tune instrument the A string snapped as did the spare provided. I ordered a set of D'Addario strings and no problem. The tone of the instrument and overall quality it good. It would be difficult to beat at the price.

The banjolele was in excellent condition. For the price I was most impressed and the instrument is well finished with a lovely tone. The only issue was that the wood grain on back plate of the drum was not in line with the neck but this was easily resolved be removing the eight screws repositioning it. There was no necessity for this other than me being rather fussy and I like thing to look as they should! I have no idea what strings are fitted but they are okay at the moment. There is a spare set. The gig bag was fine but the mini tuner does not seem to want to identify the e string. Also included were some plectrums (picks) and a gauge for locating the bridge position. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase.

I’ve been playing guitar for fifty years so I know when am instrument is well made and this is I was really pleased with it and as a beginner it plays well. Hope this helps

The armrest on my banjo was in the wrong orientation, see image. (meant to sit at a "6:30-9:00 o'clock position, not 8:00-10:00 o'clock as pictured). Also worth noting the armrest was screwed in place and could not be moved. Aside from the armrest, the tension hoop of the head had the wrong number of rims (18 instead of the regular 24, as was pictured in the item description), and the skin clearly says "Banjo Ukulele", again, see my attached image. Due to all these issues I returned the banjo for a full refund, kudos to amazon, and bought a slightly more expensive one. If you're thinking about getting a banjo for a beginner I would recommend taking a step up from here. Other than the issues with construction the kit contained everything to get you started, so you may be more lucky than me if you've ordered this before.

I bought this to use the parts for another project and they worked well. Could have done without the included junk, the tuner in particular was useless. There is no response to their customer service email.

Banjo very good, only fault is the zipped bag included to take the accessories is awkward to open as zip sewn inside out so cant get to pull tab. Other than that good value .

Alright, it’s not often I leave reviews, but this thing is worthy of every star. Sounds perfect, the bang for your buck is incredible! I bought the 5 string banjo, very easy to set up and tune, very clean sound with that perfect country twang. -The only issues, the metal thumb pick is a bit bulky, the finger picks are perfect. The straps pretty stiff so getting it on the banjo is pretty hard, and a few of the screws holding the back resonator on were loose. All little things that are fixable by yourself in just a minuite.

Es mi primer Banjo de tamaño completo, el instructivo que viene explica bien como acomodarlo para empezarlo a usar, eso si no entendí bien como usar el afinador que viene con el banjo(desconocimiento mío, es mi primer instrumento jeje) por lo que usé una app para afinar banjos como este, llevo ya con él un mes y se vé duradero. El estuche / mochila es bastante útil para mantenerlo seguro. Les dejo fotos y un video en el que demuestro mi nulo talento jaja pero por algo se empieza, lo recomiendo desde mi posición como principiante. Saludos de Guadalajara Jalisco México.

I ordered this piece with trepidation as I've purchased feature name banjos in the past. They sounded like rusty strings drawn over a bucket. This banjo is different. The resonator is made of a very quality hardwood with a bowl-shaped bottom. The neck is easily negotiable and most importantly when I pluck any string it is deep vibrant and melodious. It is also LOUD projecting a very clear lovely sound. If you purchase this banjo, read the instructions. Set the banjo up correctly or have a pro set it up. I was so surprised by it's sound quality I was speechless. There may be prettier banjos but I've yet to hear one with a better tone.

Got this banjo uke a couple of months ago and like it better all the time. It’s got good weight, beautiful finish and looks first class all the way. The little fret markers on mine are tiny skulls and crossbones in abalone! It’s absolutely adorable. This is a quality object and you won’t be sorry. The bridge comes from the factory in a loose state as it is supposed to and was simple to install. The person who glued it on (in a previous review) was ill advised to do so. It is held on with pressure from the strings. It really should have instructions for the neophyte who can’t be bothered to google it, lol. I couldn’t be more pleased with it. Buy one if you are tempted. You won’t do better for the price. I bought a case separately from the same company and it is fine for travelling in a car but I would not check it on a plane!! Keeps it dustfree and scuff free.
