Excellent for winter
if your hands are cold all the time while on the PC then this is the gadget for you, it does keep your hands warm it doesnt overheat or anything. Just as some people said it feels a little small for a keyboard and a mouse, they can fit but is a little tight, the best is to try it yourself and see if it bothers you.

Best Heated Mouse Pad Yet!
Very nice having a warm desk for your mouse again. I put 2 "Corsair MM150 Ultra-Thin Gaming Mouse Pad – Medium" on it side by side & they fit perfectly & now my mouse slides so easy/ nicely & transfer heat great!I put it on a smart plug so it's really easy to turn on/ off & set to go off at night incase I forget. Highly recommend!

One of the few products for desk cold hands
There are way to few products of this type on the market. Wife has cold hands, even pain from the cold while working at the desk at decent room temperatures, so we were looking for a solution and there were not many available.Anyway, after using it a few months i can say problem solved, it does a good job, pretty safe and not too hot. Only improvement that could make it great are a few additional inches (that's what she said) in width, because it does not leave much room for the mouse if you are using a full sized keyboard.

First impressions
Arrived in good condition. Once I heated it up, it flattened right out from it's rolled state. The surface has a couple of bubbles in the material. I can press them out, but they return a few minutes later. They're not a big deal, but it IS a brand new product...The power cord is too short, so I had to get an extension cord for it. It heats up quickly and makes my desk comfortable to use on cold mornings. However, after the desk itself gets up to temperature, it starts to get too warm (uncomfortably warm, but not hot). This really needs a HI/LOW option to better control the heat output. And finally, it needs to be bigger, or smaller (or some size options need to be offered). It would be perfect if it were half the size it is now, or if it were about 50% bigger. In spite of it's shortcomings, it works, and keeps me warm!Update: The switch is really kind of lame. The surface is slippery (in spite of the raised ridges) and the movement is stiff, which makes the switch really hard to operate. A 3 position rocker switch would be a much better option.

Could be a little larger
I am a drafting manager that spends long periods (hours) fairly sedentary deep in my work. My office is on the colder side which doesn't bother me aside from my hands which, since I do little moving, get cold. I'm in an open office type floor plan so putting a heater at my desk would effect those around me. This mat is perfect for my situation. I click it on for about 10 minutes as I work and my hands warm and back off it goes. Do this occasionally throughout my day and it works like a charm. When I leave it on a bit long it does tend to warp my keyboard a bit, but goes back to shape in a short time. The only issue I have is, being a drafter I work with 2 screen sand the width doesn't accomodate much movement of the mouse with keyboard both on it. For this reason I typically work with the keyboard hanging over about 4 inches providing me the necessary movement for my mouse on the pad. It would be nice if this was just 6" wider. With that said, it still suits my purpose better than anything else out there
