The package arrived in a pretty rough condition and when I briefly opened it to check it (since it was a birthday gift) I noticed that a some of the black plastic light bulb socket that you stick in the bottom had broken. I didn't THINK it would affect much, and thankfully it hasn't! The light works great, provides exactly the desire amount of ambient light (and having the dimmer switch to adjust the brightness to your choosing is also great!) and I find this geometric shape with the various color layers to be really attractive--moreso than the normal random hunk of salt lamps. Most importantly, the gift recipient really likes it too. Be warned, it is surprisingly heavy! Not unmanageable by any stretch, but just be careful and use two hands. I literally only wish the cord was slightly longer, but otherwise, it's perfect.

I've had Salt Lamps before, but nothing like this one. It's truly lovely! It arrived in one piece, on time, and exactly like the pictures. I bought this for my spa suite in a salon, and it adds so much ambiance to my room. I love that it's dimmable, and I plan to leave it glowing all the time to help purify the air. It's unique and unlike any other salt lamps I've seen before. It's also quite heavy and solid, and it looks anything BUT cheap. I'm so happy with this purchase! And I have no doubt that this lamp is genuine. It's simply beautiful!

I was so excited to receive this salt lamp, but it turned out to be yet another quality control fail that should never have passed inspection to be sold. I can't believe it passed visual inspection at all. May be that there wasn't any. The first thing I noticed was a water-damaged lightbulb that fell out of the lamp during unpackaging. While it still works, it reflects how little they care about delivering a quality product to customers. Additionally, their logo is not even etched well. Even when zoomed in on a photo, it's hard to read. This shows how much pride they have in their product. I understand that salt is a natural material with uncontrollable variations, but that is not what is wrong with this lamp. The most obvious glaring imperfection is the adhesive which looks like plaster that starkly pops out onto the surface of the lamp. On the front edges it looks like they used the adhesive like a patching plaster. Next is the joints between the three different layers of salt - the lines aren't neat or clean looking at all. All of these blemishes are glaringly obvious when you turn on the lamp! Based on other reviews, I was prepared for the lamp to sit off-kilter from the wood base. I wasn't expecting perfection. I have other salt lamps with the exact same issue. But in addition to that the wood base doesn't look very good and even has a chip on one corner. It may not be detectable in my pictures, but the entire salt portion of the lamp is skewed - none of the salt pieces were properly cut or in alignment. The lamp is like a slight parallelopiped, not a cube. I am just so disappointed. Had to waste my time boxing the thing back up to return. I love the design concept, but the quality in craftsmanship was completely lacking.

I bought this for my husband's office, because he fell in love with the pink salt lamp I bought for our bedroom. I thought he would appreciate the unique striated color of this lamp, and he loves it. Love he dimmer feature and that it comes with 2 bulbs. Gives off a beautiful light and vibe.

This was the perfect size for a large or medium room. The ambient light is soothing and de-stressing. The look is modern and unique, yet subtle enough to look great for many places and decor themes. The light is adjustable in brightness. The seller stands behind their products. I will be purchasing more.

I have owned quite a few salt lamps and this is by far the most unique looking. It could be a little bit brighter, but still very lovely. I deducted a star because the bulb lasted less than a year. This is significantly shorter than other lamps I’ve purchased.

Very nice light. I too have a problem with the base not being lined up.
