Just arrived and installed 1 hour second time. Two pulley configuration, .o32 wire fishing lead.works. good to go again.Another year I order again but I don't agree with the negative reviews. Strong string I have a 10 ft umbrella cover in 100* az .

Worked perfectly for replacement of my umbrella cording. I have an expensive umbrella that broke the string and I was able to save it from the landfill. I washed the umbrella canvas while I had it apart too. My umbrella works and looks great again.

Nice cord outdoor, very resistant and durable. This is the part that has been working for a long time, before I have been replaced two times with another cords. Currently still working well.

I liked this cord because it was stuff enough to feed through the pole. If you have a breakover button in the middle you will need to make a fishline from wire to get the cord through the small hole.

String was good but it was difficult to install as the umbrella we have has a fitting in the middle to allow for angle adjustments. There was only one small opening to "fish" the cord string through. It took several attempts to achieve success.

I guess I should have realized it said string / rope. It's the size of a #10 wire. This is not a rope. Not for patio umbrellas. Rope should be eliminated from the add.
